On both exams I’ve sat for (September and October), I’ve been 100x better on LR than RC going in. Going into September I was going -4 on LR and was worried far more about RC. Lo and behold though I sit for the actual thing and feel like a superhero on RC, but get crushed by LR.
In October I felt and did a lot better across the board, but the same feeling hit me: why am I flying through this RC section and getting the right answers, at a clip that I don’t on sections/PTs? Either they’ve been making RC easier or my adrenaline is carrying me. Inclined to believe the latter.
But apparently it seems to backfire on real exams as it pertains to LR. So does anybody have any advice on how to reel this in/balance it? I’m going -2 to -3 on timed LR sections right now, so it’s kind of annoying.
