Hi Admissions team, would love some guidance! After undergrad, I took two community college courses that are related to my current full time job. These were just for fun/ to better understand the industry I work in. The classes are very clearly related to my job and I do discuss my job briefly in my personal statement.

Do I need to write an addendum for these classes to explain why I took them, or is it ok to just say nothing?

I also noticed that some applications ask to explain a "break in education/ terms." Can I put a brief sentence about it there since it was a year after I graduated undergrad?

It could be good to provide a brief addenda here because it is a smidge odd to see classes taken outside of a degree granting program (ie, you were taking them just for fun). But it can be a really brief explanation!
