I have almost completed the Foundations Section and wonder when is a good time to start taking practice tests. I have heard from numerous people that regularly taking practice tests is what really helped them improve their score. Any advice on when to start taking them, how often, etc. is much appreciated!

only once you finish the core curriculum do I suggest taking practice tests. at least once a week, and no more than twice. start with just one. every practice test is just another diagnostic test. the score does not matter as much as the process of building good strategy and techniques. the only way you know that is if you blind review. I suggest blind reviewing slowly and making sure you are 100% confident in the answer of whichever questions are marked for review. this is where the actual work of improvement comes from. once you finish blind reviewing you are not ready for your next test-- go work on whatever you were weak on in your test. drill based off of that, revisit lessons if you need, whatever it may be. I made the mistake of practice testing without actually doing anything in between my tests to improve/see any difference in my scores. your blind review score is more telling about where your knowledge is at that anything else. atm I am struggling to break the 170 curve but my blind review average is 176, scoring as high as 180 br. you'll do great. oh and keep a wrong answer journal for every question even the drills and answer it thoughtfully of where you went wrong and what you need to do better next time.
