First Score Drop in PT

Hello! I am feeling very down. I have been studying my butt off, doing so well on drills and today my PT dropped pretty significantly. I dont know why or how this could even happen! Im very mad at myself right now that I could let my PT score drop. I finally was feeling a bit confident and then I saw my raw score and gasped. Has this ever happened to anyone else? How do you bith recover from this and get better?

After some reflection, I have basically studied everyday since late june to now. I might need a break. Im not nuerotypical and burnout is especially real. Ill go over my PTs when im back on from a small break and if anyone has any extra advice on where to go after a break, let me know! I also agree that its not a memory test which makes scores fluctuate. And my physical wellbeing isnt at its peak currently so I shouldn't be so damn hard on myself over one worse score than usual.

I think it's also important to remember that regardless of how you do on PTs, truly anything could happen on the real exam for worse but also for better. Going into the June exam my pt scores had dropped that week. On the two pts i took prior i scored a 164 and 162 and on the actual exam I scored a 168. Sometimes these drops just happen. The LSAT is also not a knowledge based exam which makes it more subjective in my opinion, so you're not going to be seeing the same consistency in scoring as with studying for a fact/knowledge based test.

I can fluctuate +/-5 over just a few days. When this happens, I try to feel grateful that I am uncovering this weakness on a PT, not the real test. Try to uncover patterns in wrong answers not just in terms of question type. Go to PTs that you did well on, and figure out why you got hard questions right there, but not on this PT. Examine your mindset and physical wellbeing from when you were taking it because that's a huge factor. Also take into account how old this PT is, if it's not 140s/50s, it may not be extremely representative of the real test(possibly). Sorry if this is stuff you know already! Good luck!!!!!
