Out of curiosity, are any other Alaskans taking the June LSAT? I'm always seeing the DC/NY/Cali study groups, but the non-contiguous US is woefully underrepresented.

can someone explain why certain lessons are marked on 7sage as optional? I just started the core curriculum. I saw that the first 'optional' one was a cute story/ anecdote and skipping would be fine as it had no bearing on understanding content, but now I'm at the second optional lesson entitled ' For, since, because' and IM confused why it says optional. Does it cover it alter? is it not necessary for LSAT? I'm going to listen to it, but its throwing me off and if someone can please explain why its marked that way it would help.

What are your best tips/advice for the writing portion of the LSAT? How have you been/did you prepare for this?

Hi! I took my diagnostic yesterday and I am hoping to take the August LSAT. I finished the Arguments section, and I am wondering what the practice test timeline should be? When should I take my first PT after my diagnostic? I know 7sage says to not take more than 1-2 PTs a week, but when should you begin taking them regularly?

Please speak to how many questions to select, what difficulty to set it to, which years, etc.

Wondering if anyone else has this issue of answering then doing blind review and your first answer is right but you then doubt it and overthink and choose a wrong one. How much does intuition play into this test

Hey everyone I just started studying for the LSAT I'm not from Toronto but interning here at a law firm for the summer and looking for other people around the area who are also gearing up to take their LSAT. Would love to create a group or find anyone who is looking for someone to study with.

If my plan is to "study" for 12ish hours a week, how is that broken down? Do I do 12 hrs of lessons? Or do I finish a section and then practice questions, live classes, or podcasts for that section? If I do the latter, how much time do I spend on each section, and how do I know when to move on?

For law school applications (and future bar admission), how should I go about what jobs I include? I started working at 17, and my first job I was at for really around 4 years, but I quit a couple times and came back, always on good terms and it was a normal thing at that job. There were some jobs after age 18 where I was at for one day, a couple of weeks, or just one week before realizing it wouldn't be a good fit, and I'd find other options. All retail and service jobs, and these short jobs were always outweighed by other jobs that were great experiences. I would just hate to get through law school only to get struck down by the bar for a resume issue.

I am preparing to take the June LSAT and have been drilling specific question types with which I struggle the most. This will be my first LSAT, so I anticipate taking the test again later on, and I am concerned that I am going to run out of clean questions for use in future studying. Is this something to be concerned about, and should I limit my drills of a certain question type as a result?

I'll be taking the LSAT online next week. I was wondering if anyone with experience could comment on what the room check is like? I'll have to be taking it in my living room, where I have books, a mirror, my kitchen etc. Should I take out books in advance? Not sure what to expect, would appreciate any anecdotes.

I’d like to take the exam in my living room, but the way to my kitchen is open as is the hallway to my front door. If I taped a curtain over both of these openings, thereby making my living room an enclosed box, would this satisfy the test room requirements? If anyone knows or just has suggestions I’d really appreciate it!

Forgot to put this in the feedback forms, but can we, pretty please, keep office hour classes? I personally find it extremely useful to look at the always excellent questions others bring in, and moreover, we get to look some of more recent questions that understandably are left alone in other classes, which in my humble opinion, makes the fact it's a smaller class the perfect setting. Office hours: small but mighty, please reconsider removing them. Much appreciation (for everything)!

I just finished to core curriculum and I have a very good understanding of all the concepts. This is just for LR but I took an untimed section just to make sure I have a fundamental understanding of all the concepts and got 24/25. I feel like now I should start drilling and doing practice exams. Can anyone share how they built a study plan like this after the CC. Also how did that help you? If you could go back and give some advice to yourself in my shoes what would you say?

Hello everyone. I really need some last minute help with my Reading Section, as I take the test in August. I have been averaging -1 to -3 on my LR, however, I have been averaging around -7 to -10 on my RC. I am averaging about a 165-168, but would love to reach a 170. I am looking for a 1 on 1 tutor who can answer my questions and explain to me what I may be doing wrong in my approach for RC. I would love to spend around 50-115 dollars per hour with the tutor. I have tried Varsity Tutors but they were veryyyyy disappointing. Does anyone know any 175+ LSAT tutors that could help me?

Im new to this whole lsat business. In fact, I've been putting off starting studying because...we'll, frankly, I'm not entirely sure what to do? I took a diagnostic and got a 163 but im not sure where to go from there. Do I just start drilling? I understand the basic logic behind the questions just fine, I think. Its just a good number tripped me up, so I dont think I need introduction to the base concepts.

Hello! I am unsure when I should take the LSAT so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently a rising junior in college in New York, and I live in CA. I have just started studying for the LSAT, and I prefer to take it in California, not in New York, so that limits the months I can take it. As a student-athlete, I am pretty busy during the school year. Should I use this summer, the upcoming school year (25-26), and next summer to study so I can take it next July or August (2026)? Does this seem like a reasonable plan?

This will be my first time taking it, so I'm wondering if my second time should be the summer after senior year of college/after I graduate, when I am hopefully working as a paralegal or something (before I apply to law school). Idk, I have not really thought out when I should take it a second time. Lmk what you guys think!

Sorry for asking this silly question. I am dying to know whether an ear muff or a noise-cancelling headphone is handed out to each and every test-taker? In addition to that, is anyone allowed to wear earplugs inside the headphone set? Please bear with me that I am suffering from a mild case of panic disorder.

I am looking for flashcard sets I can find on quizlet that cover the concepts in each section (Foundation, LR, and RC). Key words to look for, common question stems for each question type, common right and wrong answers for each question type etc. Just things to help improve accuracy and strategy!

Yesterday i took my second PT where my score went up by 1. However, my accuracy for 4 star and 5 star went up (40% and then 8%, respectively). My other percentages were largely the same. Any tips or guidance on just how I ended up at this point and potentially. Is there a way I should study? Did you encounter a similar problem? If so, how did u get out?
