I just completed a timed argumentative essay and wanted to ask if any one else has done an essay and would want to meet to give feedback on each other's work?
Hello Everyone,
I just finished to core curriculum and I have a very good understanding of all the concepts. This is just for LR but I took an untimed section just to make sure I have a fundamental understanding of all the concepts and got 24/25. I feel like now I should start drilling and doing practice exams. Can anyone share how they built a study plan like this after the CC. Also how did that help you? If you could go back and give some advice to yourself in my shoes what would you say?
Thanks so much for all your help!
Hello everyone. I really need some last minute help with my Reading Section, as I take the test in August. I have been averaging -1 to -3 on my LR, however, I have been averaging around -7 to -10 on my RC. I am averaging about a 165-168, but would love to reach a 170. I am looking for a 1 on 1 tutor who can answer my questions and explain to me what I may be doing wrong in my approach for RC. I would love to spend around 50-115 dollars per hour with the tutor. I have tried Varsity Tutors but they were veryyyyy disappointing. Does anyone know any 175+ LSAT tutors that could help me?
Can someone shares the Flaw List that Nicole Agranonik shares in her class?
Hi folks,
Im new to this whole lsat business. In fact, I've been putting off starting studying because...we'll, frankly, I'm not entirely sure what to do? I took a diagnostic and got a 163 but im not sure where to go from there. Do I just start drilling? I understand the basic logic behind the questions just fine, I think. Its just a good number tripped me up, so I dont think I need introduction to the base concepts.
Hi there! I apologize if this question is asked often or will be answered for me in the course, but at what point should I start supplementing with practice tests and drilling? I've heard about starting once you've finished the grammar section, Foundations, or the entire course. Any tips/suggestions? Thank you!
I just took the June LSAT but I haven't done the essay yet, so I wrote a practice one under timed conditions. I'm a strong writer & editor but I have been out of college for a year and a little rusty on writing these argumentative style essays. I'm going to take the essay in the next couple days, but does anyone want to compare practice essays and give each other a little feedback? I took argumentative essay #2 on LawHub, but I'm open to other topics ofc
Passing down all of my LSAT books, including The LSAT Trainer, The Loophole, Powerscore LSAT Bibles, and the 5lb Manhattan Prep book, other LSAT Manhattan Prep books (Reading Comprehension & Logical Reasoning). Prefer pickup in New York—please message me for more details.
Hello! I am unsure when I should take the LSAT so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently a rising junior in college in New York, and I live in CA. I have just started studying for the LSAT, and I prefer to take it in California, not in New York, so that limits the months I can take it. As a student-athlete, I am pretty busy during the school year. Should I use this summer, the upcoming school year (25-26), and next summer to study so I can take it next July or August (2026)? Does this seem like a reasonable plan?
This will be my first time taking it, so I'm wondering if my second time should be the summer after senior year of college/after I graduate, when I am hopefully working as a paralegal or something (before I apply to law school). Idk, I have not really thought out when I should take it a second time. Lmk what you guys think!
Thanks in advance for the input!
Sorry for asking this silly question. I am dying to know whether an ear muff or a noise-cancelling headphone is handed out to each and every test-taker? In addition to that, is anyone allowed to wear earplugs inside the headphone set? Please bear with me that I am suffering from a mild case of panic disorder.
I am looking for flashcard sets I can find on quizlet that cover the concepts in each section (Foundation, LR, and RC). Key words to look for, common question stems for each question type, common right and wrong answers for each question type etc. Just things to help improve accuracy and strategy!
Yesterday i took my second PT where my score went up by 1. However, my accuracy for 4 star and 5 star went up (40% and then 8%, respectively). My other percentages were largely the same. Any tips or guidance on just how I ended up at this point and potentially. Is there a way I should study? Did you encounter a similar problem? If so, how did u get out?
Not very happy with my score, but im happy my understanding of the harder questions went up (in this PT there were more 5 and 4 star questions as well) PLS LMK I could use the help
Hi everyone,
I’ve been studying for the LSAT consistently but inconsistently for about a year now. I started in the low to mid-140s and have since climbed into the 150s, but I’m aiming to break into the 160 to 165+ range by the September test.
By “consistently but inconsistently,” I mean that I’ve tried to study as regularly as possible, but I haven’t had a full two-week stretch of uninterrupted, focused prep during that time. Due to personal life changes, working 20 to 30 hours a week, and maintaining some extracurriculars post-grad, my schedule has been pretty fragmented. I know this has likely contributed to my score plateau.
Right now, I usually try to complete one timed LR section and one timed RC section per week, along with some drilling and review. I also keep a wrong answer journal, although it sometimes feels tedious and time-consuming. For resources, I’ve used The LSAT Trainer for RC, completed the 7Sage curriculum last summer, and worked through The Loophole.
At this point, I’m feeling a bit frustrated that my score has been stuck in the low 150s for a few months. If any of you have broken through a similar plateau in a short time frame (1 to 2 months), I’d really appreciate any tips. Whether it’s study schedules, habits, tricks, or anything else that helped you see a jump, I’m open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance, and best of luck to everyone studying right now!
I happened to take a prep test early on in my practice here on 7sage, I then thought I took a different one on Lawhub a few months later but I actually repeated the same one, is it possible for my to upload that score manually still? Like can I have a prep test have two pseperate score from two separate testing sessions with out deleting one? Just curious?
I have noticed that after my blind review of drilling Qs, timed sections, and full practice tests, the vast majority of questions I get wrong under timed conditions I get correct during my blind review (usually -4 or -5 to -1 during blind review). I am curious what aspects beyond time related factors are worth reviewing or examining in my wrong answer journalling of these questions, as when I do not have time constraints I confidently understand content of the questions and can determine the correct answer.
class is scheduled for 7/1, 8-9:30pm ET. Thank you in advance!
How will 7Sage be affected by LSAC maintenance scheduled from 7/11 - 7/13 and 7/24 - 7/28? Will we still able to practice test / drill? If not, what can we do to ensure we have study material during these outages in service?
I’m based outside the U.S., currently prepping for law school apps (Fall 2025 cycle), and already took my first official test. I’d love to connect more directly with international test takers. If you're also studying for a retake, want to share strategies, or just need mutual accountability comment if you're in!
Hi all!
When I went through the 7sage curriculum I remember there were nice flowchart study sheets linked to some of the lessons, but I can't seem to find a lot of them. Does anyone have the link to the extensive LR and conditional reasoning one?
Where do I find my confirmation number? If you are taking the August 2025 exam, does anyone already have there's already?
You can export your Drill results from classic.7sage.com to new 7Sage here:
https://7sage.com/users/settings/practice/import/classic
This will work as long as your email address for both accounts are the same. Unfortunately, BR results will not import nor will Drills taken on the obsolete 2-digit format PrepTests.
I usually do all Cs but recently tried all Ds & I feel like D was less common. Does anyone have a certain one they always do and why?
Hey guys, I took the June LSAT and I didn't score what I wanted. Im taking it again in August and feel more prepared. I was wondering if anyone had any input if I should sign up for the September one or if I should wait till the October one? HELP!
I've become really inconsistent on my PT scores. For the last ~7 PTs I've taken over the course of the summer, I've started to jump between mid-high 160s to 170+ basically every other PT. I've scored above 170 enough times that it feels like those aren't flukes but I also cannot tell what is going wrong on the PTs that are on the lower end. Any advice on being more consistent? :)
hi! posted this on the new forum as well, but in case it didn't cross-post:
looking for some advice. in the past month and a half, i've scored 180, 180, 179, 173, 175, 171, 171. I feel like I've been studying just as hard and focusing on my weaknesses in the same way that brought me to those high initial scores. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently to account for the drop. I haven't been particularly stressed or overwhelmed, and nothing major has changed in my lifestyle. Maybe the PTs in the late 130s were just easier for me than the ones I'm taking in the 140s?
Has anyone experienced something similar, and do you have any advice? My test is in a month and I'd like to reach my full potential again.
