Hello,
I submitted my application to Northwestern and registered for an online interview. Kinda nervous. Anyone has any tips? Or if anyone went through it what was your experience?
P.S. It is by far my top choice :)

I did 1pt lower and I thought that test was easier than a lot of the practice tests I was taking. Whatever. I studied and practiced all this year. Time to move on
I'm on the same boat as you are. scored 1 point lower in Dec. My June and Sept were a tie. But as @10024.youmans said: IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON.
So I just received my Dec score. I was scored one point lower than my June & Sept score ( which were exactly the same). How do you think adcomms will look at it? the score is in the 150's. Do you think I should write an addendum?
I have been living peacefully for the past few weeks. Rarely checking on forums. Today I said, hmm let me see if there's an interesting thread. WORST DECISION EVER!!

Hi,
So I used the word "pouring" when I should have used the word "poring" in my PS. I know it's completely my fault and it is stupid.
I already submitted my apps to my top choices ( about 6). Should I email them edited version?! HELP!!
I don't know the correct answer of what you should do, but a good friend/mentor of mine, Allison gained mission to HLS after discovering a typo in her PS.
It won't be that counts you out
Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. But I keep imagining adcoms reading it and burst out laughing. Rather than saying " Poring over a report" I wrote " pouring ☔️☔️over a report".

@gregoryalexanderdevine723 so even if I score well on the GRE, my LSAT score will still impact their median? In other words their ranking? For Business schools, I know some applicationts who scored poorly on GMAT but were admitted based on their GRE. I thought it would be the same case here.
Hi,
With the recent announcement from Northwestern that they accelerated the GRE acceptance to this cycleI'm considering taking it within the next 2 weeks. My question is do you think it can compensate for a low LSAT? I have studied for the GMAT 2 years ago and scored well. And I heared that it's easier than both LSAT & GMAT. I'm an international student ( English is my second language) & majored in Finance, so the math section might give me some advantage.
Is there a specific threshold which would be considered a strong score? Any advice would help.

Had two LGs. One was straightforward, but difficult. The other was weird (rumor game) but easier. Really hope it’s the latter.
RCs - dual paragraphs about relationships of comics and chefs to IP law was real.
Also had Chinese language, as mentioned,
... and a passage about parallel universes aka “the multiverse.”
One of the LRs had a question about nuclear fusion.
Did u take it in the US? I took mine overseas and I got the rumor LG section. So I guess that's the expermental for both of us

Second lg was in/out with groups. Kind of hard for second game but still ok! The indian spice LR section was real
I got 2 LGs as well. Do u remember either artifacts or rumor game?!
International Test Taker here.
Got 2 LGs - one has an invistgator of a rumor. The other one artifacts being examined. I hope the artifacts one is experimental coz it was TOUGH.
RC - 1- use of computer software in English courtroom
2- Chemistry dependence on Physics
3- one about hand-woven textiles by African tribes.
4- Music in the middle ages
So I just finished the exam. Got two LGs - LRs were ok - and was killed by RC. Anyone else out yet?
I remember I read somewhere to bubble your answer before you turn the page. And use these few seconds bubbling to take a deep breath & tell yourself " I'm doing well". I do that and I feel it calms me down.
Your story is really encouraging. Congrats! When I told my family I scored the same as June everyone was telling me to just accept it and send your applications already. But I'm not ready to give up yet. I know I have it in me to score higher! I still haven't registered for Dec, but I think this thread gave me the push I needed to decide :)
I scored exactly the same score as June's. Devistated! I think it's because I took the European version. The level of difficulty level as you progressed in the section was different. The easiest game was the last one and the most time consuming was first. Same with LR, I struggled with the first few pages. Should I retake? Will applying later in the cycle hurt my chances in getting into top 40'sh schools? Like George Washington, Fordham?! And of course T14? NYU, Columbia!

I have been cool and collected for the past month until about half an hour ago and now I can't think about anything else. Good luck friends!
SAME!!

I'd really like it to be Friday just so I can write an addendum that says, "I got the score on Friday the 13th, in October no less, what did you expect!?"
Hahaa .. great idea for an addendum! I actually don't want to see the score. Oblivion is a blessing

There was an RC experimental passage about abstract thinking and primitive art. There was also an experimental passage on immunity to lawsuits. I have no memory of any passage mentioning the pyramids or the louvre or astronomy--are there multiple experimental versions?
I had 2 RC sections and I remember the tribal immunity, WW1 activist, & the abstract art but I took the test overseas. Does that mean it was the expermental???? I hope so coz the other one was pretty easy.
Do either of you remember a passage on sandstone and layers of rock and maybe fossils? I took the international test too and remember the immunity to lawsuits, primitive art, and also a section about public funding for the arts.
YESS! The one with the sandstorms, native-american plantation methods, and the bankruptcy law are the real one according to powerscore. For me this was the first section

I took it overseas. Just finished. Was not good! I'm considering just canceling & sticking to my June score. Don't worry if you took it in the US. Tests overseas most probably are different.
I completely agree. People are taking years of their lives to study for this damn test. what difference does it make if one got 10 questions wrong vs. 15? or 20 vs. 25? is that enough evidence that the one that got 20 will be a better lawyer than the one with the 25 wrong answers? I think there should be a minimum score that you have to pass in order to be "qualified enough" to be a successful law student. Like if you get 165 then that's enough for you to be competitive in any school, other things equal.
Yup. same here. I just took a PT yesterday and scored 6 points lower than my average. I think it was overconfidence + lack of focus. I'm freaking out as well. will take my final PT before the exam on Tuesday.
I am curious to also know if there is any LSAT boost for non-native English speakers ( or International students). Do adcoms take this into consideration at all?
PS: Sorry if this is out of topic but I researchered alot about this and did not find any info.

I'm imagining a super creepy Black Mirror episode about this.
UCLA admissions office: We noticed this applicant has been been dreaming in shades of blue and gold more often recently and has even mentioned Los Angeles to family twice during the Christmas holidays. Hmmm... let's send her an email with a benign request for information and check to see how much her heart rate jumps when she checks it, just to make sure it's actual interest.
They would call the episode Undemonstrated Interest.
Hahaaa, then I will be admitted to all schools. Every night I dream of a different school lol.
