I can process premise and conclusion and even anticipate the answer correctly. However, some answers are just so weirdly written and I end up picking wrong answers. I know practice is a key but is there other tip you 7sagers can share with me to spot the answer?
LSAT 21.S2.Q5 For D, it says, "Concedes the very point that it argues against."
I thought it meant this person is not arguing against the main point of the argument. However, the other website explanation says it's circular reasoning answer. Is it really circular reasoning ...?
Hi.
I got this question correct but I was debating between A and C.
I chose C at the end because Max was harmed without consent and Wesley benefit from the Max's result in the report.
I just wanted to make sure why A is incorrect.
I assume that A was incorrect because Sonia did not benefit from having harm to another person because at the end both children were kept afterschool. Am I correct?
Hi,
I didn't understand how A is worded.. can somebody translate this French into English. Thank u.
"This strategy lacks a counterproductive feature of the rejected alternative"
Hi,
I take like hours to review questions that I got it wrong... I go through every answers and try to figure it out why each is wrong or right...
I've noticed if I review like 10 questions.. I spend almost an hour... sometimes more..
Am I the only one who's taking this long? Is this normal?
Can you solve this below?
A - B
Most B - C
A- B
Some B - C
Thanks everyone! Always helpful :)
I wanted to see the reason why I got rid of B and D is correct.
B ) "The qualities enabling a person to be elected to public office" -
Descriptively incorrect. The premise never said her past antinuclear record is the quality that enabled her to be elected?
D) "It leads to the further but unacceptable conclusion that any project favored by major smith should be sanctioned simply on the basis of her having spoken out in favor of it"
Descriptively incorrect. Premise did say we should build the nuclear plant not because Mayor smith favored it but because Mayor Smith "who supported antinuclear record" favored it.

Hello,
I'm planning to apply next cycle but I wanted to get LOR by this year from professors. Is there expiration date to LoR?
Hi,
Can someone briefly explain this whole weakening question please? TY
I'm excited about this study group after reading ellewood's comment
Registered late and the only option for me was Hilton..
Am I going to take a test inside the hotel? Did anyone took a test there? How was your experience.
Hi,
This might be a silly question but for D... It says "A scientific model that contains many elements is not a good theory"
And, on the premise, in order to be a good scientific theory your model needs to be simple enough to contain only a few elemnents...
From what I learned... Many is some ...
Is there difference between few and some?
Help! Any recommendations and how was it?
So, I chose B at first and then changed to C for BR. Now I know why B and C both cannot be the correct answer for this question.
B talks about dominant class which we don't know anything about.
C talks about social class which its different from noble class in the premise.
The correct answer for this question was A...
(A) To say that feudalism by definition requires the existence of a nobility is to employ a definition that distorts history.
I understand the answer until "is to employ a definition that distorts history"... How does it distorts history..?
Can somebody explain why A is a correct answer?
Thank you!

Really? I thought how many times you take doesn't really matter cause they only consider highest score
@ I printed out pt 1-45 and fits in one medium binder. It sounds like a lot of work but saves you a lot of time ... I just started doing this cause I hate going back and looking for pages and printing it out
I don't print out 10 games. I print out clean copy and do 10 times and keep it in my binder so I can go back and do it again.
I gave up cleaning my desk so I'm drowning in papers too
Thank you. I'll watch bucket method video again.

What kind of flaw is B saying? Is there category for that kind of answer?
Can you solve this or is this invalid
A - (some) - B
B - (all) - c

What if we replace "and" in the premise to "because" then does that make Answer E better?
Is D correct because the paragraph only gave one reason why it's justifiable to fabricate someone's remarks?
What kind of flaw is this? ... exclusivity?
Hello,
I was recently reviewing PT2.S2.Q2. One of the answer says "The author appeals to conscience rather than reason."
Could you give me an example when the author appeals to conscience?
#help
Just a reasoning check.
D mentions "it is difficult" but like C should we not assume anything that's not stated in the premise? We only know what's "not difficult"
How was it? Could you give us some review? Is it quiet?
I'll be taking september test and I'm like 7-8 points away from my goal
I graduated last year and I spend on and off studying for LSAT for a year... I'm still struggling and not getting score I want.
I was wondering if it is a good idea to postpone and study one more year and apply next cycle or just try my best and apply this year... Also does 2 yr gap after graduating from college hurt my chance?
#help Answer choice D "contrary to the purpose of the law" I'm confused why this phrase is in the answer. Is it saying "regardless of the purpose of the law?"
Cant you just apply and then if you decide to go next cycle..apply again?
How long did you actually take to get 170? I;m like in same situation :(
I've been really depressed not getting difficult 4-5 questions on LR (many times 3 too). This hurts my overall score so much that I've been consistently getting low 150. I thought I knew how to distinguish question types, how to diagram, and how to approach different types of questions. Now I'm considering hiring a tutor to help me. I wanted to hear what other people have done to overcome...
I know practice is so important but no matter how much I review. I just keep making mistakes and getting everything wrong.
#help Can anyone give me an example of "inserts personal opinions into what purports to be a factual debate?"
Is it like "I hate oranges" therefore "Human hates oranges"
Question type: Explain
Premise:
Conclusion:
I chose (B) thinking that the silencer will "share" the power with appliance. I realized that was just an assumption I made. It would actually not explain why the new silencing device will make lower electricity consumption because they are both using same power supply.
Anyways, I don't see why (A) is a correct answer. I'm not sure where to know that the motor's efficiency = electricity consumption
Is there more than one flaw in this question? #help
For BR process, can I change answers to all of the questions or only the ones that I circled?
Hello,
Why is E wrong?
Is E wrong because it is an assumption that plants and animals "will" move to inhabit areas that are currently used for "agriculture"
I want to know why answer E is wrong. In Manhattan Prep. It says "everyday food" is irrelevent to the question. However, couldnt water be part of everyday food? Is this also making assumptions?

Where can we find this active reading strategies
@ Yes that's what I meant. Sorry if I confused you.
I just know that
A → B
B →m→ C
cannot be A → m → C
A → B
B →some→ C
cannot be A → s → C
I want to know if you can get A → s → C from first diagram
