Confused why D is correct. Didn't get it because of the word "dances", although the rest holds up. I still do not see how Gould's research applies to dances, only that it applies to forager bees and visiting / not visiting certain sites

Explanation for B is poor in my opinion. The stimulus says that volcanic eruptions send ash that blocks sun & creates cold temps for a year or more. There is no "can", it says it causes these temperatures for a year or more. I believe it is wrong because it does not tell us where the ash comes from so it cannot help justify the fact the ash came from Mt. Etna. Answer choice D helps clarify this the most as it specifically addresses whether there were any eruptions near China.

@blossomom I flagged this question myself, and going back to it I reasoned that we are talking about education as a whole, and not a subject (even though subject is a part of education). I also believe that because it is "most logically completes" that leaves it some room to not be perfect. From what I viewed, "success of a student's overall experience" is closer related to "most important steps" than "likely to make progress in that subject". Dunno i'm not a tutor or anything but i hope this helps

I'm a bit confused. Is it not possible for all the speakers at the convention to not be delegates? Is it because we stated that some delegates are government officials so there has to be at least one delegate (gov official) that is a speaker because every government official is a speaker? Looks like I just figured it out myself wow

Why are we assuming that the precarious financial situation has to only apply to changing from a paper to online version? Is it because the treasurer says so? Still a bit confused which answers B and D are entirely wrong, as there certainly could be other financial reasons for failure. So why must it just be paper and online publication? I understand why A is correct, but not why B and D are wrong.

I still don't see why D is incorrect. Is it because the subscriber distorts a premise instead? He states that the claim (conclusion) depends upon a premise Arnot did not state (assumption that the government can be trusted to act in public interest). Any clarification would be great

@JakobYeager I would say this specific question is a time burner, especially as it contains an extremely long sentence and a 'could cause' claim that can easily be lost within the mass of words.
