Hi All!
Just wondering if there is anyone at all in the same boat as me. I am reapplying to schools after being academically dismissed from another law school... for absolutely unacceptable and abhorrent reasons that have no reflection of my academic capabilities... but we are over that and not dwelling on it. I have decided to take the August LSAT. I have not taken it since 2024. I have never taken it without the Logic Games, and I was never given my proper FULL extra time accommodations.
After already experiencing a year and 1/2 in law school, my personality and confidence levels are totally different. I am also non-traditional (I am 39). Anyway, I am looking for people who are not super new to the LSAT, so people who have taken it a few times before. I am in Southern California, in case anyone is wondering. I have to nail this LSAT. I am aiming for about a 165-170 (realistically). I cannot stress the importance of taking those extra-time accommodations if you qualify for them. I felt the stigma of it back when I first started this process, so I only used the minimum, even though I qualify for the max. In school, I finally started using my full accommodations in my last term before my dismissal.
Lemme know if there are any study groups for "LSAT veterans" lol or wounded warriors ... people who enjoy this torture!!! .... who are forming a study group. I am enrolled in one of the weekly courses. It is the one that meets Mondays & Thursdays at 6pm (pacific time)/ 9pm (eastern). Much Love & Good Vibes to everyone!
