I got this right but I did it differently. Is how I did it correct? Or was I just lucky to end up with the same answer?

When I tried the cafe question on my own I did the lawgic differently but came to the same conclusion... Is how I did it still correct or no?
Cafe <-s-> Decaf BMR
Decaf -> Tea
Conclusion: Cafe <-s-> Decaf -> Tea
I still don't understand the meaning or definitions of sufficient and necessary. Like I can't wrap my head around it.
I understand all these lessons but I'm confused on how they translate to selecting the correct answer on the LSAT. Is this explained in future lessons??
I'm confused on how you know if the premise is valid. Like is it because Garfield has both the C and the M meaning it follows the C - M?
Something that confuses me is how do you know which goes in the bigger circle and which goes in the smaller circle? The diagram really helps me but I'm uncertain about which goes where.
How does this translate to choosing the correct answer on the test? Like I'm confused on how this will relate at all....
