E says that you should punish the party whenever possible. that explains it since it would be impossible to punish ALL the parties when all of them are to blame. but if it's only one party, you can punish them by voting for the opposition.

I initially chose D which now I see it's completely wrong as it shifts the attention to the incumbents.

I initially got tricked by this one since it jumped from the party to the individual. But, E mentions the individual in a way that bring attention to the PARTY to which the INDIVIDUAL belongs.

Hope this helps!

After looking at it for a long time, I realized that the archaeologists compared the patterns toward the end of the tree rings to determine the dates of the trees. Even if one tree is older than another, they both experienced the same weather conditions during the years they were growing at the same time. This allowed the archaeologists to match the most recent ring patterns and track the tree's age and timeline.

the argument is that "the sole purpose is to help them fund their education" However, if C is right, then the sole purpose is not to help them, is also for the school to save money!

B is right because one could argue that violent shows is the result of a violent society. But B guards against that claim by saying that violence is not the EFFECT of TV shows but that it is the CAUSE. (The things that makes it happen)

The top in this organization is the military chain: we shouldn't put someone there with a bad history because they would be barred from doing important jobs within that chain:

commanding a missile wing

a bomber squadron

contingent of fighter jets

For principal questions, we're looking for the broad message the author is telling us.

"no one (although this is a broad statement, remember that this is a principle question) should be leader in the chain, if they would be barred from important jobs there. A.

This one for sure did not feel like a level 3 question.

I got confused because "performing actions that are close to thinking" doesn't really explain whether that would be considered as "thinking". But from the stimulus, we know the following:

Computers-- close to thinking

nonhuman Animals-- not close to thinking

Computer-- not will power

Nonhuman animals (Some) -- have will power

A-- Having volitional powers need not involve thinking.

This is strongly supported because some animals have will power but are not close to thinking.

I had the same process but then realized that even if the word "absolute ban" isn't mentioned on the stimulus, that's the point the Vet is trying to make. We shouldn't Ban it bc there are other options.

@Ms.ShahG YESSSS I also picked E, but now that I'm reviewing, I found something else terribly wrong with E. The Vet never mentions EXERCISE lol. it mentions diet and medication

The conclusion of this argument is that Breeders are wrong in not breeding horses with this defect. By following this, we can see that there should not be an absolute ban since the severity of the disease can be controlled with Diet and Medication.

I originally picked E because I thought this was a general principle question. but the Vet's response is not supporting the claim of "no prohibition that have ANY disease that can be controlled by diet and Exercise, ALSO EXCERSISE ISNT EVEN MENTIONED BY THE VET.

This question is asking which one is able to go over their estimate more. (Percentage contractors vs. fixed contractors).

E- talks about the estimate they give their client, but if you think about this, the higher the estimate, the harder it is to go over it, so this one doesn’t explain it.

D- the CLIENTS can get rid of unnecessary costs for % contractors. Meaning they can bring those costs down more. Hence, decreasing cost overruns

For B I got thrown off by the word "flourish" because the last paragraph just mentioned smaller species surviving the catastrophe. BUT the author says that "mammals fared relatively well" which means that they actually did FLOURISH!!!!!

E is right because the author explains what would happen if constructionists were to be correct (the survival of every species are due to such adaptation) and then explains how nature proves those constructionists wrong.

I'll just blame English not being my first language LOL. I thought Empathic had something to do with the author being empathetic, which is why I went with B since it made more sense. I'm still laughing about this one.

For D. Remember that Just because we know a quality or characteristic of smaller species, that does not mean that the opposite applied to bigger species. For example, just because smaller species were able to survive, does not mean that they larger species are unable to survive.

For B, remember that at first, the author mentions that when cohesiveness is low, individuals might stay quiet out of fear of recrimination. Hence, even if High cohesiveness might have it's pros (critical thinking) and cons (Groupthink), it is true that a high degree of cohesiveness can examine decisions more critically as they have more freedom to express themselves. P.S. this is the note I wrote to myself, hopefully it helps some of you. THIS QUESTION WAS BRUTAL BUT WE GOT THIS!

This one threw me off at first but here is how it clicked lol. The argument says that the fish changed pattern WHEN the female gave him feedback on their color. Well, someone could come in and say that they always change colors regardless of feedback. Which is why A supports the argument. It illustrates how fish act based on the female's reaction and not so much a random female.

Hello future attorneys,

I wanted to see if there are any students in the Pennsylvania area (Lancaster, Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, York, or Harrisburg) who want to form an in-person LSAT study group.

The goal would be to meet once or twice a week at a public library or coffee shop to review practice tests, and stay consistent in our prep.

Meeting in person helps with:

  • Accountability and staying on track

  • Real-time discussion and deeper understanding

  • Learning different strategies from others

  • Creating a focused study environment

I’m currently scoring in the mid-150s and aiming for a 165+. I’m planning to take the LSAT in June, so I want to stay fully locked in over the next two months.

If this is something you're interested in, please let me know and we can coordinate.

But even if B is true, the argument is still questionable because it confuses the amount of money spent with the value something it's given.

my question is, why is the last one different than the ones we did in the past?

If the record sells well, then you will be famous.

records sells well  ---> famous

/Famous ---> /record did not sell well

Why are we now adding (W ←s→ /F) SOME if the sentence does not imply a conditional relationship????

0/5 by the way! :((((((
