Straight up just got this one wrong because I didn't read "EXCEPT".... no wonder this one felt impossible to answer LOL
Answer choice A and B sound exactly the same in my head. Still can not decipher one from the other.
This question and the correct answer makes absolutely no sense to me. It goes against everything I've learned this far.
The reason I didn't choose D is because of the verbiage in the answer choice: "offering an alternate explanation of the CORRELATION cited"
I thought because of the wording in the stimulus, "caused by" was indicating a casual relationship. Therefore, I thought answer D was a trick question answer choice.
Wait I'm confused!!
The skill builder before this said I couldn't group (or assume) "Commerical Pilots" and, "people who fly" together. But for Q#1, I am now allowed to assume and group together, "electric trucks" and "all trucks"? Someone please help lol.
Q#2 is slightly confusing. For the reason being that I was under the impression that (<-s->) you could interchange the inputs on either side of the arrows.
Therefore with that application, Q#2's conclusion could be: some surgeons could be vampires. Right??? Obviously, that conclusion doesn't make logistical sense, but if accepting the premises as true, that's what could be drawn (right??).
Please explain why there is no conclusion drawn from that question.
I am slightly confused because didn't we just have a lesson on "and" being equivalent to, "and/or"? Please inform me if I am misunderstanding!
the noncharitable / owner or not owner-owned is giving me a headache lmao
