Chose C

Was looking for an answer choice that they disagree over whether articles will succeed. Could not find an option for that and started looking for comments on social customs. C is wrong because although it mention social customs, it assumes they do not support articles. Babson thinks people WILL support, therefore assumption is premature.

Correct D

I hated this answer because it's hard to process. "People's attitudes toward tipping" = social customs, meaning the AC says whether "social customs" suggest success. Babson says yes, Cortez says no.

Chose A the attractive wrong answer lol

When seeing difficult wording, really need to slow down and juggle with the concepts. Disregard all of the misrepresent part, think about about is the "consequence of parking tickets" and the "intrinsic value of parking tickets." Realize that there is no such comparison between those.

Correct E

You already know from reading that this is false dichotomy, so superior implies an inferior, meaning there are two being compared.

hmm, I got this one wrong.

Chose C because I thought if the facility is not intended, then it increases the risk of the fault. However it already prefaced what could happen to the proposed facility in a thousand years, meaning its intention has no relevance.

ABC all involved random comparisons. D has always which is a red flag and also doesn't mention influence.

This was a confusing read but I got it right. The key is realizing that the two premises are completely separate and both are sufficient to prove the conclusion. D is the only one with two independent premises.

Chose E

Incorrect because stimulus only mentions chimps receiving altruistic behaviors not displaying them

Correct B

reciprocated means chimps both receive and display altruistic behaviors, which correspond with the human observation

At this point need to highlight the conclusions in every answer choice. ONLY in the conclusions eliminate A, C. We eliminate E because that's not parallel, eliminate D because BOTH

My struggle is that the argument says we "should not conclude," not that spikes weren't caused by volcanoes. When none of the answers indicate that there is sufficient evidence, we should eliminate wrong ones.

B incorrect because 30 years ago

C incorrect because it compares Venus and Earth, irrelecant

D incorrect because what happens on Earth YEARS ago is irreleant

E is incorrect because fossil fuels???

Correct A

Chose B

Incorrect because first sentence says the normal purpose, and B simply says it's not working

Correct C

C moves on and suggest a different purpose. Evidently (and other adverbs) are helpful to sense the transition of the topic.

This is super tough because it is really poorly written

Chose C

Incorrect, stimulus does not specify that searching the internet involves opinions of doctors. The assumption I made was too far

Correct B

Highlight the conclusions, Sam said it is not unfair. Highlight worth MORE, meaning Sam thought she said the opinions don't have to be worth more, aka same weight

Chose E

Incorrect because admission of manipulation doesn't change the fact that music itself manipulates

Correct A

Identifies that muscican's intent is irrelevant to the effect of music

Chose C

Incorrect because identified the wrong "state of affairs." Regardless, there is no one item that causes two different effects (variables are book, visits, and family health)

Correct D

the answer choice is worded really poorly, but it essentially says two things can both have impact on one variable without have effects on each other. In this case books and health can both reduce visits but book and health may not be related at all

Chose A

Incorrect because a rabid bat more likely to infest anotehr bat than other animal (including humans) actually supports the conclusion that removal isn't justified

Correct B

althought less mobile is irrelevant, being more aggressive weakens the argument because it increase risk of attack. It is important to read the whole answer choice
