🙃 Confused

Got a 167 on my first LSAT, do I retake?

While a 167 on the official LSAT is good by any means, I was hoping for a little more, like a 168-170. My diagnostic was a 155 earlier in May, and I averaged around 164 for the last month, but I reached 170 just two weeks before my test (maybe just luck, tbh). While I am very happy I got lucky in a sense due to it being higher than my average, I am conflicted about whether I should retake it in November.

I was aiming for top 15-30 schools, and I have a high 3.9X GPA and strong achievements, but I feel that 1-2 points could greatly improve my chances. I am currently a full-time senior in College and work part-time, and because of my time constraints, I'm not sure how much I can improve my score in one month.

If anyone has any words of encouragement or advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

💪 Motivated

I just scored a 170 on PT157.

My first 170 after being stuck in the mid-160s for the last month. I made big improvements on my RC this time and actually got to half-attempt my final passages in each section. Motivated to keep this up as I get closer to my September test. Anything is possible!! - Kevin Garnett
