#help

Is this a good way to approach these questions? My tactic is to first read the first person's argument, then go directly to the answer choices to check if they are (1) mentioned in the argument or (2) oppose or agree with it. After that, I read the second argument before finalizing my answer.

I originally chose answer choice D, but after listening to his brief explanation, I realized it's a comparative statement that lacks support. The answer choice claims that the importance of storytelling was more prominent in the past, but the stimulus does not mention this. It only states that storytelling was prominent both in the past and in the present. There is no indication in the stimulus that it was ever more important before than it is today.
