Hummhh! LSAT writers make the test more difficult because they are frustrated? Me: Dude, chill, I will get you a coffee!

I chose b, and I was wrong. In protest, I am just going to refuse to like this Barbu fella.

I picked C. The way I interpreted it was very similar to what B was saying. An effect (back pain) that occurs in the absence of a particular phenomenon (slipped disk) might not occur when that phenomenon is present. In other words: back pain may not occur when a slipped disk is present. To me, it was a very hard choice between B and C, because the way I interpreted it seemed to say almost the same thing to me.
where I am having trouble is in figuring out where the sufficiency indicator is on the stimulus.
I got this question wrong because I misunderstood the question itself. The previous question was about the LC. When I read this question, and it said : "other nineteenth-century women writers", I assumed that it was asking what did she adopt from the NW writers ? (for me, trap word was OTHER). I knew that she had adopted the detached scientific like approach from the LC, but I ignored that because I thought that it was asking about the NW.
