I know B isn't the best answer for #1, but how does it strengthen the argument?
For B, I don't really get why it is wrong. The "for" just means "because" right? Wouldn't this be correct since they are explaining why Mary acted responsibly which she did because she made a reasonable effort to make sure what she did is accurate and that the details were complete?
I do not really understand number 6 because the article mentioned nothing about labor costs. But however, for C, they explicitly said that they are looking to replace high paid skilled workers which directly shows that C is correct right?
