@DonSzn01 it was just an excercise. as lawyers we need to identify assumptions in other's arguments at times. it is how we win. in order to find flaws in an argument and win a case we must become familiar with what an assumption is.

also on the lsat you will have to determine which statements' arguments are stronger than others. need to identify/spot assumptions to determine strength.

it's also important skill/knowledge to identify assumptions. he gave an example of when in his career an assumption could've become a costly mistake.
