Argumentative Writing LSAT

Good evening everyone!

I would like to have some feedback on the Argumentative portion of the LSAT and any would be greatly appreciated and helpful!

My first question, what did you use to prepare yourself for this portion of the test and what helped you the most on test day?

My second question is would it be better to take it before my exam or after my exam? I am taking the September LSAT on the 10th and I really want to focus solely on preparing for that and move my attention to the writing portion afterwards. I just want to hear if this is a good path or if I should do something different.

I am nervous for this part of the exam because I’m not sure how to condense my opinion into only a couple of paragraphs and not entire essays like I have in undergrad. Again any help would be so helpful to me!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Also quick note: I saw on Reddit (and Ik I shouldn’t trust it) that I only have to do the writing portion once? Even if I take two exams? This confused me so I want to make sure.

Increasing my RC Accuracy

Hi everyone!

I have recently hit a wall with the RC sections and can't seem to increase my accuracy even with extensive practice. I was wondering what others have done or do to increase their accuracy, like tips, methods, or creating new ways of thinking. Hopefully this makes sense; any help would be appreciated!

@fssilver I am so sorry for responding late! Thank you for the advice! I always try to tell myself, "You can do this. What does the question want, and what can you infer from the stimulus or passage?"

@jesmc2129 I am so sorry for responding late! Thank you for the advice! I do walk around my house during the ten-minute break, so maybe I need to do some jumping jacks lol.

Advice on Staying Focused

Hi everyone!

I am in need of some advice about how to stayed focused during a full-timed exam. I can usually get through the first two sections unbothered and locked in. However, after the 10 minute break between the 2nd and 3rd sections I become super tired and sluggish and this causes me to do worse on the last two sections. I know I could do so much better if I am able to stay on track and not become uninterested.

I am not sure if this makes sense or if anyone else has had this issue, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!
