Hi! So I've been studying for months and made consistent improvement, and now all the sudden I'm doing worse than I ever have. I would rather not being doing poorly (duh) but I'm not sure why I have backpedaled so much! I'm taking the Spetember test, and need to get over this hump. Anyone go through something similar/have any tips?
Hi! So, I'm doing really well on my BRs and untimed drills (even shorter, timed drills I'm doing well on). Not getting the scores I ultimately want, but getting pretty close. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate to my timed PTs. I'm getting 9 points less in the timed environment :/ its pissing me off. Does anyone have any advice about bridging the gap between timed sections and untimed? Is it just taking more timed PTs/sections?
Feeling pretty good about the writing section, but just a few questions for anyone who knows the answers: Should I aim for a specific length or tone in my response? Or is it just good old whatever works best for you/your argument?
ok I may be being stupid here, but can someone explain the difference between a contrapositive and a negation? Is a contrapositive just another perspective on the logic while a negation is a complete upending of the logic?
is it safe to say that a good over and under inclusive rule is that when the verb is active the subject is sufficent and when the verb is passive the predicate is sufficient?
I understand why the last sentence is the conclusion in q5, what I'm a bit tripped up on is why the first sentence is context rather than another premise? It seems that it supports the conclusion because of the "storing food waste in their back yards" --> "shut down operations". The conclusion exists because it assumes the first sentence is wrong. Why is it context and not a premise? How can I tell the difference?
@lmo2142 omg yes i’m scoring worse than my diagnostic it’s driving me nuts! I’m hoping it’s just some anxiety that I’ll push thru by my test. Thank you for sharing!!
