Split into personal statement and some form of an addendum if you can

I would do an overcoming obstacles essay or something like that, as an addendum.

I would apply if you want in for the next cycle. You applied in January which is I think a little later so you'd have a better shot applying earlier. I would write a completely new essay. It can have the same gist but different at the same time too. Also not an expert but if you want in why not try.

I would also reach out to the school and ask for constructive feedback on you application. Some will say no but some will say yes! It shows initiative too!

Can you take a break for a night or two and reset? When if the lsat? I skipped two evenings of studying and feel more ready to tackle my studying my now for the long weekend. I also work full time usually 50 ish hours and I understand that test anxiety plus littles running around. I’d probably take it to see what you get. You can always schedule for another test and then will give you a good baseline, if you do feel you need to improve.

I would write an addendum. I don't think it would hurt could, be a overcoming the obstacles essay.

Not an expert but I would just list the job and leave off hours. I am doing an evening program so maybe it would be looked at different for a full time JD. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I am making my lower undergraduate gps into my overcoming obstacles essay, putting a positive spin on how the challenges helped me grow too

@JacobBaska thank you for your feedback! I drafted a new admissions essay from a blank document and it is very different from my first but somehow I still thinks fits perfectly.

@CalebTurner I actually reached out to ask for constructive criticism on my application and most of them said no but one did review their notes with me and helped! I even asked about how I was planning to change my essay and asked their opinion. This years applications (if I don’t get into my last waitlist school) will be shorter but I feel have more depth as to my why.

@AndrewGreen Thank you! I took a break from studying and I feel like I shouldn’t have counted so heavily that I’d possibly get in somewhere. I’m hoping studying from now till October will help yield a few points difference in my lsat score.

@soleluna883 I took the April lsat and applied after that. I re-entered the job market after having kids and made the decision to go to law school in January.

Get a diagnoses and ask for an accommodation. You can request the experimental section to be removed too. Mine isn't for ADHD but it is worth going over how the experimental section could impact you based on your diagnosis with your provider.
