I just tested in a center last week, even without accommodations, you are allowed to eat during your 10-minute break. I took a granola bar and some tic tacs that I left in my locker. The only requirement was to fully remove your bag from the locker before you remove any snacks, so they can make sure you're not accessing electronics, etc.
