Yes aleii1014, Q5 was a bit annoying for me too, i chose option A, thinking that lay people will not take up new tech because of the persuasive nature of risk comm. But then after the passage analysis, realised that the issue with lay people is not about that but only the fact that they make value judgements based on the children example. But the weird part is i felt that the value proposition or judgement was also negated in the very next line wherein it says that the entire argumentation for children blah blah can be ignored by the people. I am still confused now after writing this reply haha....

I got E, but the possible explanation that D can be right can stem from the fact that even if one person or driver has used a seatbelt, then the effect of such seatbelt usage is the improvement in safety and thereby does not resolve the paradox right?
