What I do is I will try to find the alternative hypothesis (in this case: "Actually, corporations AREN'T influencing the government's decisions) and then try to find the best opposite of that. It's how I got this one correct.

AAAH! I had it right the first time but thought C and D were basically the same answer, so I chose B. I didn't recognize C said that both groups consumed the same amount of fat while D actually answered the discrepancy.
From what I was told, speed naturally just comes to you as you continue to do these questions. You just sort of figure it out faster. It's similar to how you slowly do jigsaw puzzles, or legos. Eventually you don't even need to read the instructions and can just put it together by looking at it.
