Did anyone with only two LRs have a question about different med students, trying to diagnose patients, and being told a specific diagnosis from their first advisor, then trying to diagnose again with a second advisor. Or something along the lines of that. It was a really long stimulus, so I’m sure I’m messing up some of the details.

Yes I remember this!

I had LR LG LR LR RC

Before Test Day

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to see what everyone is planning on doing before the day on our Nov test day.

For those taking the test, I plan on waking up around 9ish, having a good breakfast, review some light LR, some light LG, maybe one or two RC passages. Afterwards just relax, watch T.V., take a walk and do some things that are lightly stimulating to keep the brain juice flowing. I plan on going to bed around midnight because the test is at 12:30.

Anyone else want to share what they are doing?

I feel (B) attacks the argument..... slightly..... and doesn't weaken as much as (C) does.

@nikkici377 Thanks for your reply! When you said _"but they cannot be completely neutral, because of the negation test. this really got me thinking. I think sometimes with my AC (not just for NA) sometimes I get flustered and I just fall into traps without double checking. Because in my head I gave myself a rule I must remember that rules with the LSAT are not concrete and I should treat them with a rule of thumb.

Your line of reasoning really made sense to me thanks.

In addition to what @michaelcinco801 said, for me, I saw two things wrong with (B) which led me to pick (C).

1st: 'investment choices' and 'voter political preferences' are not mentioned in the stimulus. This should be a first indicator.

2nd: if we negate (B) to say "the investment choices of voters tend to NOT reflect their political preferences". It does nothing to the argument.

With (C) however, we know what the economic attitudes of investors are because "clearly, these investors are confident in the economy" because they are putting money into stocks. If we negate (C), then the support between the P and C fall apart because how can we say the party now in power will retain power? We can't, it would wreck the argument.

If the economic attitudes of investors DO differ from those of voters in general, then we cannot make our argument.

*Side Note: I am not sure if I am correct about this but NA AC should not be to strong, and the way (C) is worded is subtle enough to provide the support needed. Especially when they say "voters in general". Hopefully I am right about this.

I want to try and help by giving you two pieces of advice.

1. I have read some of your other comments on SA question frustration and trust me I feel you. You are right that sometimes these SA questions are not fully explained with every little detail. For my 7sage journey, I used it 95% of the time but I also used an online source that helped me when 7sage couldn't just so I could get a second explain. Sometimes reading how someone else explains something helps you. It helped me. Try reading Manhattan and Powerscore forums on there PT. This really helped me when I wasn't getting JY explanation or the comments weren't helping me.

2. In regards to this question you actually don't need to map it. Other people have done a better job at summarizing the correct way to approach this question but I will say that if you really try hard and drill the concepts of SA and give yourself 3-5 days of doing that. Without doing anything else I truly believe you will get the concept and recognize the patterns. You won't become a master or your might but just try :).

I don't know why I can't answer this myself, maybe because I am not 100% fluent in SA language and questions. This is why I need to ask this question here.

In SA questions in general, are there answers choice that support 'only if' C-->P screnioes? Is this a thing for SA question stems? #help

This may or may not help you because I find with flaw questions, sometimes there can be MANY reasons and explanations that can confuse you on why answers are right/wrong. You just need to find the one you understand amongst all of them, repeat it, practice it, and eventually learn it.

The technique I used to decipher this question is the play on words in ac (E). Takes for granted, to me, means the author needs x, but instead states y, and therefore no x. The author made no claim or indication in the premise to the conclusion that (x)IF the handwriting had been Milliers, (y)Miller would've been the joker.

For me to pick ac (A), first what stood out to me were the words "....someone else" in the conclusion. Someone else implies someone other then Millier, but what if the joker was Millier and someone else.

This is what led me to pick (A) and eliminate (E).

Yes that's true I suppose to a certain extent. Despite this being relatively true we must remember what the fundamentals are when doing a NA. To me, (E) is sort of a restatement of the premises only opposite. Further, (E) could not be the right answer because it doesn't help support the conclusion which talks about the importance of a will.

I don't think the author is implicitly stating that. All we know for sure it that one SHOULD have a will. I initially picked (E) at first and then went to (D) in BR. According to the argument (E) is not possible under current laws. (D) however connects the P and C because it hardly supports the argument which is what we want from a NA.

If the job directly relates and can assist in your PS then I would say yes.In my case I had a summer internship at a law firm for 4 months and I am putting that in my PS and resume.

I think you should IF discovering this about yourself brought you closer to a specific culture and religion, or maybe you became closer with people in your life and you learned 'x' about yourself because of this. I do however agree with the comments above you should think about not mentioning the Native American unless because of what earlier comments have already stated above ^^^
