I had LG-LR-LR-RC-LR, all my LR sections had 25 questions. I can say that I definitely did not have any two questions sharing one stimulus nor any questions about blood transfusions.

I'm hoping my second LR was the experimental, everything is kinda blurring together now but I'm positive I had questions in LR regarding:

TMAO/carnitine

bean/medieval agriculture

road repairs

replacing washing machines

disagree over: mayor popularity

disagree over: proposal for chemical plant on lake

parallel reason using aliens

Definitely in my LR3 -- Pharmacist recommendation to doctor, wild animal comparison to dogs, adults and child learning through play

LG: Wu/Zahn, criminals and day trips

RC: labor law, hominids, argentinian lit

"How are accommodated scores reported to law schools?

Scores earned with testing accommodations, including the testing accommodation of extended time, are reported in the same manner as nonaccommodated scores."

@ Thank you! And yes, today LSAC updated to say, "3 of 3 transcripts received". I've been refreshing the Academic Summary Report link ever since, good to know that it might take a little bit.

LSAC Academic Summary Report

Does anyone know how long it takes for LSAC to recalculate your GPA?

I had three transcripts sent in which were all completed this morning, however, I still cannot view my Academic Summary Report. Thanks!

I went through the initially panic of what I thought my GPA would be to what LSAC calculated it to be.. I lost my father and brother (and grandmother) during my undergraduate studies, plus I just had heart surgery (ps I'm fine now!). I cannot stress the importance of a well written addendum and great LSAT. It's hard to remember that the admissions committee are human beings. They will account for what you've experienced and look at grade trends as well!

If you're planning to take the September test I would personally recommend committing yourself to totally conquering the LG section, thats where you should be able to see the most improvement in such a short amount of time. Even though you are only missing 1-2 questions thats the different in 1-2 points overall, plus like @ stated above the questions you are missing in RC/LR are going to be the hardest overall.

@ UGH, I am so sorry, the flu is the worst. Tequila is supposed to help apparently? Not my drink of choice but two birds, one stone! Walmart has really awesome halloween fleece PJ pants for $10 (I opted for the Peanuts design), stay cozy and hope you feel better soon!

Character and Fitness Question

Okay I need an honest opinion from you all. My freshman year, literally my first weekend, I received a citation for drinking on campus, police were not involved, it was only campus RAs. Super dumb, I kick myself for it all the time.

I ended up working in the Dean of Students office during my undergraduate studies. So I asked the Dean if I should disclose that incident when applying to law school and he advised me not to if it's not listed on my official transcript. I ordered an official, sealed transcript and $15 later I realized that nowhere on my transcript does it mark any disciplinary action and lists me to be in good standing after every single semester.

Trust me, I feel like most of us are in a slump! I went ahead and filled out the actual "application" portion for the schools I plan to apply on LSAC, it's very mundane and repetitive. Technically your resume and PS are attachments so you can add those in at a later time!

I know 7sage is offering two PS workshops soon, that may help trigger your motivation. However, I recommend not forcing it. Eventually, you'll have a day that you're in the mood to write/work and that will result in much greater quality work than if you force yourself to do it right now.

Honestly, we've all put our needs/wants on the back burner for the past few months so go out and have fun! I just went to the movies and bars for the first time since March! It helps dwindle my anxiety towards score releases and overall I'm MUCH happier than I was at this point last week.

Applying in December

I really want to wait until my last semester grades are posted before applying, which would be mid-December. My PT score is 165, and 173 BR and I'll be taking the LSAT in September. I already have my PS, LOR, addendum, and additional essays prepared so really I could apply once the September LSAT grades are posted.

I would greatly appreciate any advice. I would like to apply in October, however, I recognize patience is a virtue. Looking mostly T-40 schools. Thanks!

How would I go about finding a tutor to review a tape?

User Avatar

@ Well not everyone's learning approach will be best suited by 7Sage, so I don't find myself doing any harm in offering a very credible resource at a discount price! Might not help most, but could help some!

Thank you so much to everyone who replied! I will just be doing 7sage and nixing the PS bibles!

P.S. If you know anyone looking for the trilogy I'm selling all three for $100 (LOL!)

ANYONE WITHOUT 3 LR SECTIONS: Do you recall a question about school implementing new rules to curve drinking on campus?

Please if anyone can answer this so I might be able to sleep tonight!!

@ said:

Really hoping the first section of LR was the experimental because I found it much harder than the other two, not entirely sure but I think the first section began with a question about drinking on campus. Can anyone confirm if this was the experimental section?

Can anyone confirm this, if the question about reducing drinking on campus was real or experm?

3LR : I personally found the first one much more difficult than the others

RC: Judges, Forest

LG: Witnesses, Movie Theater, Student assignments

Maybe a dumb question but will all students that had 3LR receive the experimental section in the same order? I saw above some found the last section of LR the hardest while I believe the first was the most difficult.

My last 4 PTs fall between 162-164, in reviewing these I've been able to establish where my weakness is.. but I genuniely am at a loss for how to improve.

I completed PT60 (June'10) yesterday and scored 162. I am able to accept my LG and LR missed questions, because I've learned why I was wrong and the why the correct answer is correct.

However, RC is another story entirely. I consistently missed 10-11 questions in this section, and not necessary because I run out of time. I typically finish the last passage with about 2-3 minutes to review anything I was unsure about.

Anyhow, ANY ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! If someone wants to be study partners (at least for RC) I do have pdf copies of some LSATs I'd be willing to share.

PT60 Breakdown:

S1.LR (-6)

S2.LG (-2)

S3.LR (-5)

S4.RC (-11)

what are the benefits to attending forums?

There are many benefits in attending the LSAC forums! It's really just a HUGE law school fair, but it also offers workshops throughout the day that covers on topics such as writing a resume and the application process. The forum allows potential law students to speak directly to admissions team members, receive information (brochures, flyers, ect.), and most importantly many schools give application fee waivers to students who attend. I highly recommend looking into it on the LSAC website! https://www.lsac.org/lawschoolforums/

@ Yes, I would love to!

I have just finished the core curriculum for Logical Reasoning, would it be better to continue with the core curriculum or start reading the LR Bible?

Option 1: 7sage LR --> LR Bible --> 7sage RC --> RC Bible --> 7sage LG --> LG Bible

Option 2: All of 7sage Core Curriculum --> All the Powerscore Bibles

I've packed the next few days full of work and activities to keep me from refreshing every 20 minutes. While I have prepared myself to retake in December I'm holding off on registering until I finally see September's score. Still, every time I get an email my heart stops. Anyone planning to attend the Atlanta or NY LSAC Forum?

THANK YOU! I've been looking at it forever trying to figure out which rule kicked.

Hello!

I really need some help understanding why my answer is incorrect. I believe my board follows all the rules but would love for a set of fresh eyes.

PT6.S4.G4.Q21--> correct answer is C but I chose D.

So I had my game board looking like this:

J ------ O

|

K ----- M -------L

Hey, didn't you know anyone can -0 LG if they want to? Even small children? Think you're special, eh?

Kidding. That just seems to be a really common, hyperbolic notion.

Just trying to offer some alternative approaches that I learned from studying outside of 7sage, you are more than welcome to help tutor some of the people who would like additional one-on-one help as seen below

Private Tutoring - LG ONLY

Admin - please delete if not allowed

Hello! I just complete the March LSAT and honestly miss practicing LG. I figured since I continue to practice them daily that I would offer private tutoring for anyone struggling with foundational LG skills. I consistently finish this section with -0 and would like to help others get to that point as well!

I wouldn't charge anything for 7sagers, but if anyone knows any websites that I could post about this tutoring service and actually get paid that would be great!

LSAC Fee Waiver

Does anyone if LSAC refunds purchases of CAS or LSATs that were already paid for if later approved for the LSAC Fee Waiver? I was initially denied the waiver, but after appealing I now have been approved. However, after being denied at first I did purchase CAS and the September LSAT which now should have been covered. I appreciate the help!

Confirm action

Are you sure?
