Hi All,
Has anyone recently taken PT 79? I found the RC to be incredibly difficult, I basically ran out of time on the last passage. Has anyone has a similar experience? I am normally -3/-4 on RC but this was extremely discouraging.
This answer is flat out wrong. Yes, "D" says that the painters predicted further developments in the arts, but its absurd to imply the anticipation of individual artists from that. I can anticipate the trajectory of a given field, but knowledge of future artists would require me to be a God.
I think I struggled with this because I found the content of the passage to be dreadful.
I picked C but I am starting to understand that with these questions, it's best to look for the most basic point of agreement first.
I chose E because I figured that if otters prefer large over small, they will ignore the small one's which enables them to develop.
Omg, I hated that passage sooo much. Thank you for your reply!
Hi All,

I knew it was "A" but changed it because the term "international" sounded too specific to the argument.
Honestly, none of these seem to strengthen the argument. "D" gives us no reason to believe in the hypothesis, it is just saying that some males have visible infections on their neck....so what? The hypothesis is about the ritual serving as a means to select healthy mates and D tells us nothing about the ritual serving as a means for selection.
I thought that E seemed irrelevant to the argument itself. The argument is talking about lobsters being harmed not humans. E could be true and it could still be pointless for lobsters because they don't live long enough, etc.
Help! These questions get me because I don't know when to stay "within" the argument or accept information "outside" of it.
Took PT 55 today, set records in LG and LR but my score suffered because of the friggin Maxine Kingston passage. Did anyone else have a hard time with this RC?
I don't know about 5, "emphatic" felt too strong.
I got hung up on the "research" part of C. I honestly feel like I overthink these easy questions sometimes.
I crushed the RC in PT63 which led me to be a little careless with these sections. Don't let your confidence derail your focus!
-1 for this passage but felt like I had no idea what was going on.
Following- have the same questions.
God I knew it was C but second guessed myself.
By far the worst I have done on RC with this passage.
