@ yes, same here! As far as I know the results of the elections wouldn't be announced on the 3rd and could take who knows how long. I'm already anxious about the waiting game.

Hey, I'm interested in BRing too. My email is avoro002@.edu.

Hi everyone,

I'm taking an Aug test and need an advice on how to continue studying before the test.

I completed the CC and did 4 untimed PTs with full BR. It takes me somewhere 5-6 days to complete one PT, I translate and write down every stimulus, write down my assumptions and go through every AC in details. With only couple of months left I worry that I won't be able to go through enough PTs if I do one PT a week averagely.

I'm really struggling with the daily schedule. I'm studying 6 days a week, 5-6hrs a day. Should I be doing untimed PTs or should I start timing them? Should I be doing a full PT or just one section at a time? How should I schedule LR, RC, and LG so I spend enough time on each section before the test?

Any advice would be appreciated or if you could share your daily schedule 😊

@ wow, it felt like I was reading about myself, especially the part about not being taught how to think critically while accepting the information as the truth at college. Thank you for your response, that's exactly what I needed right now. I will work to perfect my LG, keep up with LR and drill RC. Slowing down while reading and translation helped me a lot but I think I just didn't have enough time to perfect it. It took me a while to rewire my brain for the LSAT, I feel like I need more practice, especially with RC.

@ thank you for your response! I was thinking to reschedule for Jan but thought it would be harder for me to get in since it's already later in the cycle and not too many spots would be available.

@ what do you mean by BR via video chat?

I asked first professor to share his mailing address with me and he did. But then I saw some people just put university address instead mailing address and for the second professor I put the school address. So it's okay to do either.

@

I meant I wanted to go to law school next year and not postponing it anymore when I said I wanted just to go to law school. I'm sorry I didn't state it more clear in the post. I have a strong reason why I'm going to law school and it's smth I didn't wake up with one day but worked very hard for achieving my goal for over a decade now. And when my dream is getting so close now, I'm feeling defeated by the LSAT score.

Anyways, thank you so much for your response!

Feeling Discouraged

I've debated if I should post this but decided to do it because I really need some encouragement. I took an Oct test for the first time and received 151. I was hoping for 155+ as my PTing was around that. I've been studying for a year, my diagnostic was 134, gone through 7-sage CC, the Loophole and some of Mike Kim's Trainer. Couple of months ago I got a tutor and he's helped me a lot with LR and RC. My worst section is RC (-10-16), LR (-6-9), LG (-2-6).

I signed up to take Nov test too, hoping to get a higher score. My GPA is 3.98, I'm non traditional student, first gen college and grad student and English is my second language. I have strong LORs, PS and DS.

I'm hoping to get into UCONN, Maurer, or W&M, and also shooting for W&L, U.of Illinois-Urbana, GW, GM, Northeastern. I'm also looking at Buffalo as my last resort. I know my LSAT score is very low and I don't want to take another year for studying. Nov test is my last shot.

I know many people would say I'm wasting my GPA, but I'm feeling done and just want to go to a law school in 2021. Is anyone in here with similar stats has a successful story of getting into law schools and getting any scholarships?

I would greatly appreciate any information about other schools I could look at as my safe targets. I'm trying to stay on the east coast and ideally move up North.

134--->154! Thank you, 7-Sage!

I know my score isn't as high as others in here, but I'm very proud of it. A year ago I was dreaming about posting this and now here I am, sharing my success in this difficult and long journey. One year ago, I thought I wouldn't ever be able to go to law school. First generation college student, ESL and a mother of two young children, I made this far and cannot be more happy.

Thank you 7-Sage for your wonderful community and for all of the help and support I got from here.

I took my writing on the 5th and was wondering also how I would give out of it's flagged. I saw someone said to call LSAC and ask about your writing status. Mine was pending for a week and a half and then I got an email informing me that my writing was approved. I couldn't believe it, I was so sure my writing would be flagged as I didn't show both sides of the paper.

Anyways, maybe wait couple more days and then call LSAC about your status. Hopefully, you get your score back on Fri.

Usually it's less than that. What I've seen so far is people getting approved within 3 days if their writing wasn't flagged and they followed the instructions. People like me, who forgot to show both sides of the paper during the room scan and showed it later, were approved within 10 days. I'd probably call LSAC and ask about your writing status, I think 3 weeks is way too long.

I applied on Nov 24th and the status checker still says complete. Hoping to get the decision by Christmas.

@ huge congratulations on all those acceptances! That's incredible! Do you mind sharing which school you applied in Indiana, was it Bloomington? Did you get in? Bloomington is on my list too, I'll be applying after Nov test as a reverse splitter too.

I had the same issues with height and width too, back in October and today. The new proctorU test of the computer always gives me this message. Try to use the older version of the proctorU (google "proctorU hardware test," it comes up like first or smth). And that test runs smoothly and no issues with camera. I took both tests on my computer with no problems. So try that at first, I think its not your camera it's this new version of the test.

I did my writing the next day after the test and my results were approved within 10 days. As long as it doesn't get flagged, I've seen people said they were approved within couple of days.

I was told be a dean of one of the schools I'm looking at to write an addendum if my score had an increase of 10+ points. Yours is close so I would just write one. It's better to send more than less and leave less room for guessing. Just say exactly what you said here about your progress.

Same would be about GPA.

With an Oct test we were allowed to use both, pen and a pencil. They changed the rules, so you could use either. I used pen on Oct test.
