I had ai chat help me. This is different than a strengthen question. this is JUSTIFY reasoning.

Choice (C) would be a fantastic answer if this were a standard Strengthen question!

If the question stem had asked:

  • "Which one of the following, if true, most strengthens the argument?"

  • "Which one of the following, if true, provides the most support for the archaeologist's conclusion?"

I understand that A is correct, but I am not a fan of the reasoning for C. "But that archeological study must have already been done since one of the premises claims that we already have all the information about the mosaics that we need to draw archaeological conclusions." But the stim says "future archaeologists studying the site, who may not have access to our records".

I know A overpowers C because if there was to be a more compelling reason other than for archaeology means like it was putting ppl in harm or something then ya the mosaic should be removed, and A states that the ONLY reason is for archaeology which supports the conclusion. But i dont like that C's explanation says nothing about the access to records. Can someone explain that? is it because of the word "may".
