the last few times i've done LR i've just tried racing through the questions and you know what. i've found my score to be significantly better. i've gone from -11 to -3/-4 the past few days. as an added bonus i typically have 6 or 7 mins to review my answer choices.

i don't trust this method, but i'm wondering if i just over analyze the answers.

any thoughts?

i think i have a good sense of humour but i didn't find that very funny @ .. i've been calm, cool and collected until i saw you post that. i swear i went into tunnel vision on that comment.

the june lsat is really quite far away. take 2 or 3 weeks off and come back to it. you'll feel refreshed and you also force yourself to retrain. the best thing i ever did was take a few weeks off. i felt refreshed, confident and excited.

burning out will result in poor habits. the very last thing you want to do is develop bad habits.

it's only february!

i went to the one in toronto and the best part was the free application waivers. pretty much every school representative i spoke with has waived the application fee.

LG: Trusting Your Game Board

Hi everyone,

I truthfully don't have a difficult time answering the LG questions/making the proper inferences once I know my game board is correct. That's where my problem is though. I don't trust my board, and I constantly find myself reviewing JY's answers before moving on to the questions.

Is this going to get better with practice or does anyone have any techniques on how I can improve on trusting my board? I suppose I already know the answer, it's just extremely frustrating. Will it just click after a certain point or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

bC

@, the timing on that first section was so off for me. i got to question 12 after 17 mins, and i consistently get them done under 10. the other two sections were a breeze throughout. i dont know though, it may have been my nerves but when comparing the complete difficulty levels it makes sense that the first one is experimental. only time will tell i guess

@ brutal is the perfect way to describe it. it took me almost 20 minutes to do the first 12 and then i went to the end of the section and worked inwards. i was looking for some easier questions to get into a grove. i found the other two LRs to be fair. there were a few hard questions but it over all they went so well. i'll either have done really well or pretty poorly. ughhhhhh

ugh. i had 3 LR sections.. the first one felt ridiculous. it was really tough, where as the other two felt familiar. i mean, it was a demoralizing start but i recovered after crushing games !

reading comp was of course difficult, but the curve sounds like it will be forgiving as a result

lol, games. easy peasy. i could hear JY walking me through it in my head.

i really don't know which section was the experimental section. i'm confident i did really well on 2/3, but that first one. oh boy, was it ever tough.

good luck everyone

@ yes, i personal read the each question but rather i tend to go with my instincts and react quicker if when i'm going through the questions at a faster pace
