Been struggling to get out of the 160's too. Glad to hear you did it!
@ sorry, didn't see your reply until now! I took the last one on law hub. 91 I think?
Imo if it will help you calm nerves, take it. I'm scheduled for 10/10, took one last night, and don't regret it.
As far as I can tell, the only risk is that a bad performance on your last ptest might shake your confidence. But in my case, I felt the benefit of calming my nerves a little bit outweighed that risk.
I don't understand how you're interpreting "the general assembly" to denote 2 events. Can you explain that part specifically?
Also, I said this in another comment, but your analogy with the tacos and cars cannot be properly established because of relevant differences in the circumstances.
I'd recommend not introducing time constraints until you can complete the section type very well without them. Maybe don't take like 5 hours to complete the section, but there's nothing wrong with giving yourself an hour to do the whole thing as best you can. IMO it's makes more sense to perfect your technique before trying to speed up to an acceptable time than to try to do both simultaneously.
TLDR: untimed drills are supposed to help you by helping you perfect your technique
I'm in a similar boat. Do you know what the reasoning is behind not taking a PT in the last week? I understand wanting to avoid burnout, but I thought there might be some benefit to being "warmed up" to some degree. Was planning on resting just Friday and Saturday.
Best of luck to you too!
