For answer choice D, I understand why "oil reserves can be found within layers of rock" is supported. Cutting into the rock implies that there can be oil within those rocks to be accessed. But why is the "beneath" part of this supported? Couldn't the passage's discussion of cutting imply only that oil reserves can be found either within layers of rock OR beneath them? TLDR: why does cutting necessarily support both the "within" and "beneath" parts of answer choice D?
