I took the LSAT six times... Getting bad scores is brutal but eventually you'll make it! Don't give up! What I found to be the most helpful was to stop taking PTs and focus on the 7sage course material. Watch the Lawgic coursework so many times that you hear JY in your dreams. I think I made the mistake of rushing through some of it but if you can't get every single question right on all of the quizzes you shouldn't move on to PTs.

@luwenxi486 I honestly thought I really messed up the test based on what other people have been saying about the 26 question section being fake. I had 3 LRS and I'm 90% sure they had 25 questions each. Some other people have talked about a penguin question that I don't remember, but I think there was a section with a question about halverson disease towards the end and that was fake. Maybe there were two experimental LRS this time or we just really messed up.

even with all of the LR info I'm still confused haha. I had three sections and I cant quite remember what was in each one, but I think the experimental had a questions about people with Halverson (SP?) disease and a certain gene (maybe TP2?) - question was sort of towards the end. Does anyone who had 2 LR sections remember this one?

I think this is just stretching the second part of the explanation from JY about why E is wrong, but basically, I think of it like this:

The argument says, "citizens are becoming increasingly disconnected from the political system with each passing generation." It doesn't say, "Younger citizens are now 20% less connected with the government than the generation prior and this relationship will continue in perpetuity."

In fact, the argument openly acknowledges that the change will continue ("increasingly" disconnected). It could get better, or it could get worse. So the argument does acknowledge change - just not the type of positive change we instinctively think about that would make the argument totally incorrect. (i.e. an entire generation gets older and suddenly loves the gov't).

Also, this is sort of dumb and doesn't apply to all questions, but based simply on test strategy option E is a bad choice. The entire argument is concerned with generations but in answer choice E, we lose the word generation and get age groups instead.

And age groups are not quite the same thing as generations. I'm in my 20s and I'm a millennial. When I'm 90 I'll still be a millennial (which JY pointed out). Basically, generations are independent of age. So age groups don't really equate to generations. And when you look at like this, I think E just seems more wrong. Which I know isn't super helpful, but these wording differences are usually what I base my choice on when I'm between two answers. The simple absence of the word "generation" from choice E made me think it was probably missing something, and at that point, there wasn't time to think about it harder and come up some sort of similar headache analogy like JY did.

Just finished the test. Had one reading comp section and I remember two passages: jazz, judges/evidence. Had two logic games sections. One section had a circle game that was tricky, and I think a puppy/kitten question (based on convos after test pretty sure this section was experimental). Other logic game section had a question about trips to Manila, Tokyo, Sydney (pretty sure this section was real). I had two logic games sections one with 25 questions and the other with 26 so the 26 question one is definitely real.

I think it is. Everyone at my test center in Hong kong seemed to get two LG. Mine were section 2 and 4 so its really hard to tell which one was fake. But someone I talked to got the section with cars as their fifth which means that one was probably real and the musicians was probably experimental. On that note, did you think the cars question was really hard? I only had time for like the first two questions....

Did anyone here take the test in Asia (who only had two LRs) remember the question about paleontologists using dinosaur bones to piece together a fossil? Trying really hard to figure out which section was experimental. I might cancel my scores if my first LR section was real, but I can't figure out.

Can anyone confirm that Asia test takers get the same experimental sections? I had 3LR in Asia, and thought that one was much harder than the others, but I don't recognize any of the questions that you're posting from the sections.
