I get stuck on conditionals, and questions with a lot of negative words such as, "not uncommon". (Very basic example, but if the stim and answer choices are full of these it takes me a long time.)
Thank you for the tips! I will look into the tips you wrote. I might also have had not a good PT focus, since now that I'm rethinking what I did wrong during the PT, it felt like I threw out all my knowledge and started zooming reading and answering because of time constraints.
Hey everyone! I'm seeking advice after a disastrous PT today and I feel a little bit defeated. I've been studying for around 8 months. I started with a diagnostic of 143 (PT 140) in January, a PT in March and then June, both of which I scored a 151 (PT 127 and PT 128). Today, Oct 1st, I took a PT again, and it's still a 151 (PT 145).
I study for around 1 hour to 2 hours per day, Mon to Fri. I do drills most of the days, and a few sections here and there. I blind review all sections and timed drills as well. It feels like I've plateaued and I'm wondering if this is the limit of my LSAT capabilities. 😭
If anyone has tips on how I need to tackle future endeavors or if you have had a journey like this please share your wisdom!!! PLEASE! 💀
Hi everyone, I've taken 2 PTs after my diagnostic and the discrepancy of scores between the actual PT and the BR is large. Both PTs, I scored a 151 but on BR I scored a 167 and a 171.
Does anyone have tips on how to do better?
I don't get this one because the premise says "by the presence in petroleum of biomarkers, molecules indicating the past or present existence of a living organism." Doesn't D strengthen this premise because D is saying that yes there is a present existence of a living organism in there?
I am loving seeing Mike on some of these questions! A different approach to thinking about the questions and answers is really helpful!
I answered A on this one, but just hearing "most" wasn't even in the stimulus really hit the nail on why A was wrong even in a superficial read of the answer choice.
Holy reading comprehension question. The producer part being in a comparative conclusion AND in the middle of two premises was just chef's kiss by the person who made this question LMAO.
Hi everyone I just recently came back to studying for the LSAT again, and I tried the new AI feature after reviewing a drill. It told me this:
"Since this was an untimed drill (Unlimited), I recommend skipping Blind Review for future untimed practices. Without a timer, your first pass is already your untimed best! You can just submit the drill and go straight into reviewing your incorrect answers."
I've always done BR for everything, and I never realized that what the AI said is kinda true. Do other people also skip BR for untimed drills? Is it more helpful to skip BR to tackle more drills or do you still do BR because it is more helpful that way?
I didn't choose AC C here because in my head I thought "I've heard about this irl, and couldn't the piraters just illegally download the full game after playing the sample just like irl?" And that's why you don't put assumptions when thinking about ACs. I knew A and E are wrong but still chose it because I was so convinced about why C wouldn't work that I didn't even consider it.
In reality though this is not about illegally DOWNLOADING a game from the internet, this is illegally COPYING a game from 1 CD to another (burning) an example would be how PS2 Games were always cheap because it had a lot of second hand markets but PS3 which had a protection copying almost killed the second hand market (not previously owning but burning an original CD to make a copy).
Hello, my study plan drills are suddenly not allowing me to customize when clicking on drills. I used to be able to click drills in my study plans and it's going to lead me to a page where I can customize time, question types, etc. Now when I click on the drill it just immediately goes to the questions. Anyone also experiencing this?
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask when should I do PTs? I generate practice blocks and it generates 1 PT per week which I usually skip to do more drilling. I've taken 2 PTs (the diagnostic 143, and 1 after core curriculum/study blocks which was 151.) My question is should I be doing PT every week, 2 weeks, month? I would like to take the Aug/Sept test.
The reason I'm asking as well is the last time I took a PT (151 score) I spent so much time in BR and review because I missed a bunch of questions. I'm wondering if drilling will be more efficient (as it's easier to review smaller amounts per day) until I up my accuracy to a certain extent or do I need to sprinkle in some PTs here and there.

I have a question on conjunction and disjunction. I understand how the stim had a conjunction (fish and birds), but I seem to be confusing how the answer D became a disjunction (/fish OR bird). I understand the negation parts of it all, just a little confused why or how do you know D is a disjunction. indy -> /fish OR bird.
I will take this advise. Thank you. I am dropping PTs for now. I've only taken 3 extra PT after the diagnostic, but even then it takes a lot of time to BR and review a lot of questions from low scoring PTs.
