CC v2 Questions

I am getting to the SA part of the curriculum, and it doesn't seem to have the review or theory and approach sections in the later question types. Is there a plan to add that or is the v2 curriculum finished? Would love to know if there is a timeline for adding those parts of the curriculum if the ccv2 curriculum is still being worked on.

Does anyone want to create a study group for the June LSAT on Discord for people who want to get 170 or 175+? Would love something consistent for motivation and questions etc.

Will prioritize people who are willing to be active in the study group. I am currently working through the 7sage core curriculum and I am also using the loophole and readingcomp hero.

I think what helped me eliminate D is looking at the stimulus and the AC this way:

The stimulus suggests that exposure to heavy metal causes antibiotic resistance. We need to find something that strengthens that causal mechanism.

There are a couple of things that could also be the reason why heavy metal resistance and antibiotic resistance occur simultaneously.

One is that antibiotic resistance promotes heavy metal resistance which is what AC C is saying.

The other is that there is another reason that cause both things to be true. D is saying what if antibiotics were also present in that sludge, and that's why they are getting both heavy metal resistance from the heavy metals and antibiotic resistance from the antibiotics but heavy metal resistance does not make it easier to get antibiotic resistance it just so happens that they both happen at the same time. Does that make sense? The direction of causality is broken.

The stimulus is saying that bacteria being exposed to the heavy metals helps them gain antibiotic resistance if they are exposed to the antibiotics after the sludge.

Drill analytics

#Feedback

Wondering if drills analytics is a feature the 7sage team is thinking about. I think it would be useful to have analytics on drills and not just PrepTests. What do other people think?

Can someone explain the difference between a contrapositive and a negation?

First, we ignore the qualifying phrase "no statistical evidence" to look at the comparative which states that human act more selfishly so "A" wins.

When we put the qualifying phrase back into the sentence, all it says that there is no statistical evidence that this statement is true --> But until we have more information, we don't necessarily know that that entire statement is completely false. We are not told whether there is statistical evidence the other way, and also just because there isn't statistical evidence now, doesn't mean there will never be evidence (that's too big of an assumption to make). Does that make sense?

Drilling Questions

Which PTs do people drill from? and where do people start taking fresh PTs from? I have heard differing opinions so interested to hear what people think is the best?

I think I dm'd everyone the server, let me know if you didn't get in. For a more detailed overview of what we do.

We usually do a session a week where we either do a drill of a specific type of LSAT question or we blind review a PT section together. It's a very open community where you can ask questions about understanding an LSAT AC or getting help with general study tips.

We also allow everyone to plan sessions if they want to take initiative and organize one.

The only thing we ask is for people to be active on the server as we have realised that that is the best way for both sides to benefit :)

Hey Guys!

I have an established discord server with other members taking the test where we have created an awesome community. Some members left or were inactive so we have opened the group up to new members. Message below if interested and I will send a discord server link in your dms. Really excited to add new members to our community!

BR Problem Sets

Do people BR all of the questions in the Problem Sets or just the ones that you have flagged? Based on what JY says in the BR section it seems to be that you ignore the ones that you don't circle? But in the comments everyone seems to BR everything

A couple of us are getting together to do a BR session of PT 37 on Saturday. We are planning to take the test and not look at the answers and do the BR together. If you are interested, dm me and I will send you the discord link because that is where we are having the session :)

So you would convert the digital test to paper and then a score sheet would appear

I am not sure if this is what you mean, but I am pretty sure you can manually score the PTs on 7sage, so this is a lot more work but if you want to do analytics, you could take the answers you picked on lawhub and then input them in here and then 7sage would score it for you here as well.

Hey guys! I am not the same person as OP but we got a discord server set up for this a couple of days ago if you want to join: https://discord.gg/T3dMtJ47

Hey guys!

Just started a discord server for the January/February LSAT 2022: https://discord.gg/T3dMtJ47. I want the people who join to be active participants so that the discord server is able to benefit all of us. Please join if you are interested. There is no minimum score to join but I want people to be motivated to put in the effort to be able to get their goal score. Excited to work with everyone!

*EDIT: Even if you are planning to take the LSAT later, please free to join this discord. It is never too early to start joining these study groups. I have pushed the LSAT for about six months so I am more than aware that plans change. I want to create a community on the discord server that goes beyond me taking the test :)

I have been on discord servers that are extremely quiet so I would really like whoever that joins to be active participants as that is what benefits all of us

Yes, that's exactly right. Absolute numbers don't really mean anything especially since the stimulus specifically says that there has been a rise in the % of all 18 years olds that join the armed forces. So if that's the case, then yeah sure it's possible that the number of high school graduates increased in the armed forces, but since there is a rise of high school drop-outs as well, the high school dropouts could have increased by more which would mean that the % of high school graduates could stay the same or even become less, so the AC doesn't do much to weaken the argument in the stimulus.
