I was absolutely confused by this as well. What helped me during blind review was thinking of an author's name and replacing "a person" and "that person" with the author's name. For example:
"If Sanderson's book sells well because of a collaboration, future collaborations on the part of Sanderson will produce other books that sell well"
By doing so, I realized that answer choice c) is referring to the writer that provides the stimulus, rather than who they collaborated with
Hm, for me, I don't think it matters either way, since 7Sage allows for the "paper answer choice" option, which allows me to quickly fill in the answer choices after I finish PrepTesting on LawHub. While I do think it's a bit of a hoop to jump through, I don't think it's that big of a deal. It would certainly save some time, though.
