Does anyone know when if we're supposed to have access to the Item Response Report, Answer Sheet, etc? It says mine aren't available yet but I was wondering if that was normal.

We won't see them for the FLEX because its a non-disclosed test.

My two cents: I work a pretty standard 8 hour day in an office (yeah, like an actual office with other people in it....wild.)

The key to studying while working full time was getting out of my own head and realizing that I just didn't have 5-6 hours a day to study in addition to the 8 that I was working. Obviously, there are other things in your life that you need to get done so a similar realization earlier on than I had it might be helpful. A quality 2-3 hours of studying is more beneficial than drilling for hours and not really absorbing the material. Additionally, your mental health is important.

Accountability is key - write it down. Every night before I turn in I write down what I intend to accomplish for the next day. Whether that's a timed PT, problems sets I've made, fundamentals I want to review, etc.. I set a goal and I don't turn in the next day until I've reached it. I made studying objective based. Of course I gave myself room to do more or less depending on what my work day looked like, but having a start and an end was tremendously helpful. It adds another deliverable to the work day that I owe only to myself.

Hope any of this helps! Good luck!

April 2021 Retake

Because of the complaint that I filed about interruptions by my proctor LSAC has offered a retake on 22 April. I don't feel supremely confident that the test will be my goal score 160+, but I am confident it will be better than my last which was a 151 in January (bad test day).

Has anyone done a retake? Any advice?

Thanks!

Just wrapped up the test. I'd like to begin this post be declaring my proctor public enemy number one. So many interruptions.

In order:

RC- harder than normal, but manageable. The passages felt pretty normal as far as reading goes but the questions were pretty difficult inferences/most strongly supported, what would the author agree with etc..

LG - LG was very rough for me as well (book shelving, law firm, tours, and one other that I can't remember)

LR - Very easy but my proctor interrupted me multiple times during this section. Extremely frustrated about that. It seemed like every time they butted in I was in the middle of a passage or in between two answer choices on what felt like a curved breaker.

I plan on retaking in June, but who knows, I'm sure we've all been surprised by a test before.

Best of luck to everyone!

What did they keep interrupting you on?

Once I got an error that the connection had dropped entirely and was kicked out of the test. The other interruptions were for webcam drops that all seemed to require very long transition between my proctor and the "technician" and long conversation with both of them about what was happening and whether or not they could fix it.

Following. I'm drilling timed LG sections and LR question types that I struggle with (with some RC sprinkled in) up until Monday, taking Tuesday to relax and do some untimed reading and a game or two. Testing on Wednesday

Well, I closed out on test day having a bad feeling - knowing that I had deviated from my strategy and it didn't work in my favor. This morning I found out exactly how much it didn't work. I started my diagnostic in November at 149, and had a couple of 159/160 PT's just before test day.

I came out with a 151 on the January Flex. Trying not to be discouraged. I guess bad days just happen sometimes. Back to the grind for April.

Confirm action

Are you sure?
