For those who are getting the error that their "user or pass is incorrect", I edited my user by adding the rest of my email, @.com to the end, and it let me in

Send the transcript! Submitting transcripts through LSAC can be tricky-- you have to register that you've attended the institution first.

Hey everyone, I took the test yesterday at 10:50, and the format was LR26 (electric bacteria) - LG (tv or print) - RC (volcanic ash plumes, Algonquin tribe, Literary theory and science, Women’s marriage law reform in England). I did very well in LR and thought it was pretty easy as it had short prompts. LG was same as usual but you had to be on your toes. RC killed my perfect test tho, as I thought the algonquin passage was brutal and the comparative passage was hard too. If you had this format or any of the sections mentioned, What did you all think about it?

I had the same-- also thought LG was pretty standard. LR for me felt really hard, but RC for me wasnt as bad-- the comparative passage was definitely the worst imo.

Did anyone else think that the LR was like really really difficult? My section had something about electric bacteria.

On my first 5 PT, I saw very little improvement. My diagnostic was 147, but now I'm scoring around 168. It takes time and effort, but improvement does come!

Also super anti-pencil. I'm bringing pencils but also a pen, and if my proctor doesnt say anything, I'll use the pen. Otherwise, I've got pencils just in case!

How’d everyone feel about that exam? The comparative passage on the reading comp was a bit tricky for me and that last logic game was so annoying

I agree, I wish I left more time for the last game :(

Are you typically pretty good with the logic games in terms of timing?

Yeah, I usually am. I had 9:45 left for the last game, I wish I had a bit more.

Addenda for 3 LSAT takes?

I took the LSAT 3 times--- Jan, July, and Oct 2020 (I wont know my Oct score until the day I submit). Should I write an addenda for discussing my 3x takes? It;s not a crazy number, so I wasn't planning on it, but now I'm unsure. I dont know what I just got, but my first 2 takes were a 162, 164. Thoughts?

Opinions? I thought the whole test was just ~ok~. I had reading comp passages about Evolution, Lawyer relationships, false transcription, and something else. Nothing particularly scary about logic games, and very average LR. Thoughts?

162 Jan to 164 July to 171 Oct

I really hate this test. Like I really really do. But I finally beat it! I have three pieces of advice:

On RC, if you are struggling with time or around -5/-7, you're probably going back to the passage way more than you need. Try going back less. You'll save time, but probably not much accuracy.

Chill out on test day! My anxiety DESTROYED me (and my score) on the July exam. Part of my success on the Oct exam was that I had adapted a "f*ck it, what ever happens, happens" attitude after the emotional rollercoaster of the first two exams. I was able to focus on the questions on the test on Oct, instead of worrying about how the test was going while taking it. Try to calm down!

For LR, before July, I was getting -3/-4 purely on intuition. I hadn't really understood argument structures, indicators, etc. Starting to actually learn the logic of what was going on made me much more consistently score -1/-2.

Before my Jan exam: Khan Academy, Bibles, 7sage

Before my July Exam: 7sage (mostly PTs, not much curriculum)

Before my Oct Exam: Tutoring (DM me for info, I highly recommend my dude)

Standardized testing is a classist scam designed to gatekeep higher education. I despise the fact that the LSAT ruled my life for 1.5 years, but I'm immensely proud of myself for persevering. You can do it too!

My diagnostic was a 147!! It took me a month to get to the 150s, 3 months to get to the 160s, and alllll the rest to get to the 170s. YOU CAN DO IT! It will suck. But this test is learnable. You got this.
