Would you be okay working in the school's region? Most 16-20 have very good regional reach.

Three Wolf Moon, & Test Day Applications.

Does anyone have any prior experience with the Three Wolf Moon and the LSAT? I have purchased it, but I'm tentative about using it during PT. Will its effects wane over each use?

Also, what's your average score increase while using it? I used it once last week, couldn't resist, and I scored 10 points higher than my first PT back in January without the 3 wolfs.

To play it safe, I'm saving it for Test Day.

What research are you citing that supports your statement? I'm curious as to whether ~105 minutes of inactivity increases lactic acid significantly enough to affect your cognitive ability. Serious

@ Studies have shown that higher levels of lactic acid in the body inhibit the performance of the frontal lobe

Seems like some flaw type LSAT question. Not serious, but kinda does.

Don't purchase the Kindle version. I normally purchase kindle books with amazon credit and then convert them to PDF so I can more easily read across all devices.

The formatting of the kindle versions looked like walls of text. I don't own a kindle, but I was using the kindle app on my mac. I thought converting to pdf would fix the formatting, and it did not help.

I guess I'll need to purchase hard copies with hard cash.

@ I think that is a good idea.

Well, I just checked my emails and I have waivers from a couple T14's. I may go for it now and update my apps with a December score. Would schools, who deny me with my first score, reconsider me with a December score?

It says people with high homocysteine levels are twice as likely to be diagnosed for Alzheimer's. It then claims that indirectly reducing homocysteine levels with vitamin B can reduce the likelihood of Alzheimer's.

But if E is true, Alzheimers tends to be the cause of an increase in homocysteine levels. So, reducing homocysteine levels won't reduce the risk of Alzheimer's. It's possible that those who had that high homocysteine diagnosis already had alzheimer's and that's the reason their levels were high.

D talks about relatives and that was never mentioned in the stimulus. It has nothing to do with the relationship between homocysteine and alzheimer's.

My reach schools were Columbia/NYU

My target schools were Michigan/Berkeley/Duke/Austin

I'd apply Mid November.

I'm already registered for the December retake.

My softs are okay & work experience

My last 10 PT average was ~169 with two low 160's days before the test. I definitely suffered from nervousness as over half the questions I missed were in the first 10 of each section.

I'm leaning towards waiting another year to save on app money. I'd use that saved money to purchase the admissions package for PS writing.

I appreciate any advice or insight. Thank you.

170,

I guess it's the series of 174's and then low 160's that has me questioning if stress, or a lack of understanding is the issue.

Had I never scored a 175 I would be totally content with a mid 160 score.

Fixed, I used the image address instead of the shareable link :/

Edit:

That's fine, although cell phone users made up the majority of my target demo.

Hmmm, I could join you on the Saturday BR. I don't know about the weekday BR, due to working full time. I'm in the late 30's PTs BTW

During the 60's I was scoring between 171 and 175 now I'm lucky to get 169. Just got a 164 on 75. :/ Probs brain tumor, or stress. IDK

Yea it is, I've done it. Went from 150 to 167, and rising, from June - July. Doesn't mean you can or can't though. It just means someone could. IDK how much that helps.

You need to go through the curriculum, follow instructions, drill, and PT. Then you drill, look at another curriculum (Trainer), drill again, and PT. Then you repeat, rereading parts of the curriculum that correlate with your weak spots.

@ No problem, I hope it helps reduce burnout while letting you study more. They have a video on here that explains the basics of the technique. http://pomodorotechnique.com/

@.hopkins I hope you're not taking the first part of my post seriously. I take it from jyang72's haha that he took it appropriately. The intent would probably have been better conveyed through a meme but no body gots time for that.

Your second assumption is correct. I recommended he use it for studying, and did not recommend he use it for PT.

Hmmm are people telling you to take a week off solely for the benefit of your health, or because they're secret gunners? I would take a couple days off, and get back to it when you feel it's organic.

Try studying using the Pomodoro method.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.phlam.android.clockworktomato&hl=en

It helps avoid burnout. I changed the work intervals to 35 minutes, the short breaks to 7 minutes, and the long breaks are 21 minutes.

@ o I think 7Sage's responsibility was to saturate the site with notices and give people as much time as they could.

Yea, but they didn't even email people :/ . I still get random larry law emails but never got an email about the pdf's leaving. If you weren't going on the site, you were not aware.

It also happened during finals, a time many people pause their LSAT studying.

I got my pdf's in time but would have been bummed if I didn't because I paid for the course because of the PDF's. I would not have been able to afford the program + pdf's.

@ its hard to beat the obsessive, cult like following that accompanies UGA.

I agree, many people consider Emory differently than they do UGA and to an extent GSU. In Georgia, UGA beats Emory IMO. And in Atlanta, good GSU students can hold their own against the other top two. Considering it's local lay and professional prestige UGA can be a better choice than Emory, especially when you consider UGA's COA for in-staters.

That being said, I'd go 180 for GA Tech.

If the schools you're planning to apply with only look at your best score, then I would do it. It could save you a bunch of time and stress.
