why is B wrong and why is E right?

B

- does not address the gap in the argument

E

- E is right because maybe it's true that production costs drop, but wouldn't market prices reflect the "true value" or a good? So it's unclear why a drop in production cost means that the product is not worth its true value?

moral of the story: suspend your prior knowledge and just address the arguments and look for gaps between claims and their arguments

I'm not sure how D is completely supported. JY cites the fact that tourism will create just as many jobs as manufacturing as evidence doesn't fully convince me because the stim says nothing about the quality of those jobs. They could all be low-paying, part time jobs that add less value to the economy and that would definitely not be preferable to moving manufacturing there. Can someone explain that to me?

You probably shouldn't take a full length PT the day of or before, but I find that doing some LR problems untimed and unscored helps gear my mind towards the LSAT.

It also goes without saying that you should avoid panic studying a few weeks before. The LSAT is a culmination of a few months of work, so just trust that you have already built habits and skills that will serve you well during the test :)

August LSAT Study Buddy

Hi friends!

I am looking for a study buddy to go over a PT together on the weekends. I scored a 170 on the June LSAT Flex and ideally would like to score a 175+ on the August test. I also do things differently where I like going over the test after blind reviewing and before scoring so that we can get the full mileage out of each test.

I am very flexible with time!

If interested, please pm me and we can maybe get some review sessions set up!

Retake or Not Retake a 170?

I recently got my June flex score back and I scored a 170 (first take). My gpa is 4.0 from a big public university and I have average to below average softs. I was pting in the upper 160s with a personal best of 173. Will apply in August, and Im KJD.

Should I retake in August?
