I'm so mad, i was in between C and E and ultimately picked E.

I picked E because I thought the question was in regards to the first sentence, and when I realized that it was about the second sentence, palm to face emoji.

I too was between A and E until I remembered that I'm strengthening the hypothesis which is "exposure to germs during infancy"(Causation) and A is referring to the premise not the conclusion.
