I think about it like this. An answer can be great for strengthening an argument, but at the same time, not necessary for the argument to exist or function at all. I've actually found that in NA questions, answers that strengthen the argument abundantly, typically aren't the right answers. In this case, this answer is necessary because if it were not the case that the costs of disposal weren't roughly the same, then the entire argument falls apart because this fact is what it relies on to make the argument. In my opinion, your example would still necessary, it is just worded differently.

This is really great advice! I ran into this problem with this question while thinking, "why would an actor not have a copy of the script", as someone who grew up a theater kid LOL.
