Whats your recommendation for applicants with a GPA lower than their target school require? Does personal statement/softs make any difference in these cases?

@RobertCarlson I see your point here but the negation of some is not “no early hw films exist…” Isn’t it “some early hw films doesn’t exist…”

This confused me.

#feedback I am overall disappointed with 7Sage in this section. The way the concepts and questions are explained is more confusing than necessary. Many students share similar sentiments; a random YouTube video often explains these better than what I am getting here. I suggest working on this section with more diagrams and visuals to improve clarity

For Question 4, it seems like the instructor explained the question by understanding the meaning of the statement intuitively.

I believe I reached the same conclusion without taking the comparison into account by treating it as an "ALL" claim.

  • Original Statement: If it is a small animal, then it moves more rapidly than a large animal.

  • Logical Translation: $\text{Small} \rightarrow \text{MMRTL}$

  • Negating the "ALL" Claim: $\text{Small} \text{ AND } \neg\text{MMRTL}$

  • English Translation: There can be cases of a small animal that does not move more rapidly than large animals.

Is this a valid way to negate comparison statements?
