Wouldn't the word "obligated" suggest that it is a duty? It's why I went with answer D for this question.

Don't let nerves get you! Practice being in control. Your mindset has to be focused on "winning". No matter what you are studying or working on up until September. This test seems to favour those who are prepared, but also those who can handle a challenge and keep there head. Keep working hard! I just scored poorly on a practice test and I was very frustrated for a moment and realized that I have to regroup and take time to break down my mistakes.

I see now why the answer is D. The Premises do point to an overall preference of expression over verbosity, essentially saying that oral is better than written. But in answer B, I still found that answer very attractive because "communicate efficiently" I felt linked up to oral traditions promoting getting rid of what is useless and irrelevant (last sentence) which can be seen to be equivalent to becoming more efficient.

I used the "negation test" on this question and came up with E. I have trouble a lot of times with these sort of questions both necessary and sufficient assumptions. So when I used the negation test (which I find may save some time on test day), I negated E, which would say Shifts in Point of View, DO serve literary purpose. Which makes the conclusion fall apart. Thoughts?

Hey everyone,

I am writing my LSAT for the second time, having written in June 2014. I studied for about 5 weeks and got a 149 on the June test. I am a 24 year old male and just graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish , Nova Scotia with a Chemistry Major (I know right).

Now that I have bench marked myself and have a good idea about the test. I am going to work through 7 sage's study schedule and write September. 27th.

If you are in the Hamilton, Ontario area or around there and looking for someone to meet up with every now and again. Whether to chat about test questions, some things that are you finding difficult or someone to write a test along side and then review together. Get at me!

I am curious about this question. I got slipped up with the rock response, because when they say rare type of rock. To me it still doesn't imply that they originated together. Because you know, "who know's how the rock got there" the genetics seemed to me, a stronger response because it implied a relationship between the people. That really connects them to each other. Like they could have been from the same family tree and they originated from this one family that lived on the super continent and then the continent split.

With my account access, I have access to test content from the early 2000's to 2009. But RC passages that use the comparative Passage A, Passage B format aren't until the later years. Should I still be using the earlier tests as practice for RC? Does anyone have any suggestions? or know where I can access to some of these type of RC passages?

Cheers,

Mark

Where do I find the rare LG types on 7sage? Are they grouped somewhere on the website?
