The only reason I didn't choose AC B at first was because I wasn't thinking about how the university could be paying for the physical therapy. I was hesitant to choose it because of that. I chose it in BR because I felt like it was the only right answer but I still felt weird choosing it. Not sure if anyone else thought about it this way also.
Hi guys. I have been studying for a couple months (for the past month I have just been drilling). I cannot seem to get out of mid-high 150s. My BR score always gets me up to the high 160s. I am not looking at if I got the question right or wrong, I am going into it fully blind and basing it off of if 7sage thinks I should BR it.
I am struggling to identify what I struggle with. Sometimes I do really well on a specific problem type and sometimes I will get a couple of those wrong. I don't think it has anything to do with not understanding the question type. I feel like it might be just getting sucked in by trap answer choices. I also think sometimes I am just completely misreading the stimulus or even the answer choices, which is incredibly annoying.
Are there any patterns you guys know or have found that could help me ensure I am not getting sucked in to these trap answers, exactly how you pinpoint what you are struggling with, and any tips on improving your score?
Thanks guys!
@MasonEdwards Thanks, thats a great idea! I graduated this past May and I wish I could still access all my notes from class. I know there were so many things I always thought about in regards to the law and I wish I still had those!
@MallikaMalhotra Thank you so much. I think the fact it's SO quiet is definitely weird to me. But I am trying to get used to people getting up and leaving/coming in. But I agree, I should take tests/sections in like completely silence too with no distractions. The 10 minute break exercises are so smart, thank you for those!
When I was reading the stimulus I knew I needed to weaken the argument that Neanderthals were not nomadic. When I got to answer choice C I was trying to rationalize it. To me it felt very vague. I feel like you had to assume that it meant "saved gazelle teeth from different places" not just "saved gazelle teeth from that area"
I am not sure if my thought process makes any sense. I watched the explanation video and I do understand why C is right.
Does anyone have any tips on how to approach this kind of question? I am usually great at weakening questions but this one really got me.
@haena thank you so much. I think my reason for wanting to go to law school and become a lawyer is so different than what a lot of people write them about and what people have told me to think about or focus on and that is a big reason I am struggling. I have been thinking about writing it around the area I want to go into but I keep hearing different opinions. Thank you for the help!
Hi guys!
Last year when studying for the LSAT I was hitting around 156-158 which I was fine with. I took the LSAT and got a score in the mid 140s, which was incredibly disappointing. I took it remotely, and there were some issues so I am not sure if that was the main reason for the huge drop in my score.
I am taking it again in October, and have been scoring in the high 150s and low 160s with BR in the high 160s low 170s. I am incredibly nervous that my score is going to drop into the 140s again when I take it. I get very nervous and anxious when I am in that kind of setting.
I have been studying at coffee shops and at the library to get used to people getting up and moving around.
Does anyone have any tips on how to manage my stress when taking the official test? Has ayone dealt with this issue before?
Thanks!
Hi everyone. I have been racking my brain for months trying to come up with a topic for my PS and I keep hitting a wall. I don't have a "x happened that changed my mind and thats why I want to go to law school/by a lawyer".
If anyone has any tips for coming up with their PS that would be very helpful. I've used AI for brainstorming, I've written down boatloads of ideas and I don't think any of them are strong enough for a whole essay.
Thanks guys!
fr I NEVER thought about it like that and that is going to change how I approach strengthening and NA questions
