The Explanation at 12:00 helped me to better understand what was going on than the first

My Problem came down to the definition of "takes for granted"

"takes for granted" = "assume that something is true without questioning it"

When i first did this question, my definition of this phrase was "fails to appreciate" :(

you explaining Answer C as: not strengthening/weakening/kinda doing nothing really helped!

i read too much into the "save your money" part.

i like dolphins... hearing that this was supposed to be a more difficult passage really illustrated to me the idea that passages are easier with prior knowledge/genuine interest because this was one of the easier ones for me.

Adapting: RC Notation Strategies

I am currently finishing up the core curriculum and have been struggling with the fact that a lot of the circling/side margin notation strategies are no longer applicable to the current state of the LSAT :(

I know myself to be a visual learner. So as someone who definitely would've been circling/scribbling little low res margin notes over the passage if it were still physical, i am struggling to find ways to break up the passages on the digital LSAT. My strategy for tackling the core curriculum has been to try and mirror J.Y.'s explanations/strategies. But personally i feel like all the circling and drawing lines between concepts that he does (that we are no longer able to do) plays a big role in that and my understanding.

Does anyone have suggestions on how they've adapted to this change for RC? or is it simply just training my short-term memory to adapt to this change?

Many Thanks!

does anyone else get nervous when the answer choice is "E"?

i scan the answers in order and i get scared the closer i get to "E" because i start to doubt myself and think 'what is E is not it either' and i completely skipped the right answer :(

I chose A thinking the "alternative explanation" was that the data could not be reliable because it asks people to recall the past. But i see now that i read into it too much and an "alternative explanation" would suggest an actual alternative (ex. i.e. some other phenomenon just happened to cause psychological problems in the winter time)

How D is worded is confusing my brain :(

So "either/or" = "and"?
