@laurabogorad368 I just did the drafting stage for a few of the Lawhub practices, I didn't actually write any of the essays. If you've done a lot of timed writing/argumentative writing, I wouldn't sweat it!

Ahead of sitting the LSAT at a testing center on the August test date, and it seems that the argumentative writing section is exclusively conducted online. The best I can do currently is a long office, with a blackboard, and then two large bookcases with boxes piled in front of them relegated to the far corner of the room. Does it seem likely that this room will be acceptable? Might I have to cover the bookcases?
Is there any way to do an environment scan in advance to determine if the room is likely to be acceptable?

I was between A and D, having to infer the genre feels like more of a jump than the LSAT usually asks you to make, or that it normally punishes you for making, whereas D was at least relevant to the play so I picked A
We don't actually know that nations have to be thought of in metaphorical terms, just that literal thoughts about nations are not true. You can think untrue things, but it doesn't logically follow that nations should always be thought of in metaphorical terms, or even be thought of correctly.

I think this is the first question I've seen where a wrong answer is most selected seemingly.
It can't be, because nearly all correctly addressed mail arrives in more than 2 days, and damaged is a rare subset of that, so any average of correctly addressed mail including the damaged subset must be less than 3 days.
#help I can't justify this question to myself. I think what was not clear to me, and seems like an assumption, would be that last year's coal supplies are factored into this year's, I suppose I assumed each year was divorced, and that it strictly measures mined-consumed in a year, not mined - consumed + last year supply, because I can't see how we can infer that more was consumed, from 1990 to 1991, than simply the fact that we mined less and consumed the same?
My eyes glazed over trying to work out the hypothetical syllogism here, but the important thing to remember about the conditional is that the consequent can happen for other reasons, and this one you can work out with common sense from there.
The key for me to convince myself that it was D rather than E was that it specifies "even if Earth's gravity were as low as the gravity of Mars" etc. then the thickness comes into play, because initially I waffled, thinking we don't know D because it could be Mars' gravity, but it actually cannot be because gravity held constant, the crust thickness still matters and thus it MUST be thicker.
I don't think that walking is a great way to understand "nonmoving running vehicles" personally? It's cars standing in gridlock. It's like the opposite of a network effect, your car pollutes more the more time you spend in gridlock so less cars leads to less gridlock and more efficiency in the people that continue to drive.
