Love meditation! I think the reason why I hardly ever get anxious is because I meditate every single day. It's amazing for the soul & the mind, not just for the psychological benefits but the actual neuroplasticity benefits
I have some free time this week b/c of the holidays, so I can take a look at it. Feel free to pm me.
I had a nightmare that I overslept for the exam, and I woke up freaking out. It felt so real!
^ This meditation technique seems awesome. I'll try it the next time I'll do a PT.
Agree on the mauve dinosaur game. It's a tricky one.
I also thought the cd game in PT 31 was a bit difficult
When I'm drilling LG, I go through every answer choice so I can understand the reason why it's incorrect. When I'm taking a PT though, I just pick the correct one and move on.
If you withdraw for the test by 11:59 EST on Feb 6th, then it won't show up on your record. If you decide to take the test on the 7th & then cancel because you weren't happy with your performance, then the cancel will show up on your record.
I would recommend studying as much as you can until the week before the exam & then reassess whether or not you want to withdraw from it. Hope that helps! :)
That should be fine. I sometimes split it into two days too
TLS represent! I love how we all chimed in. We're so helpful :)
Manhattan LSAT Forums have most of the explanations for the older PTs: http://www.manhattanprep.com/lsat/forums/
Congrats you guys!! Y'all deserve it! :)
I just turned 27 a couple of days ago & when I told my parents that I was postponing to Feb, they totally freaked out b/c that meant that I was sitting out yet another cycle. However, when I explained to them that I knew I was capable of getting a really great score and then have the chance to get into some amazing schools, they understood & respected my decision. Plus my SO was on board with the idea, so that always helps :)
With the applicants decreasing in number, it's basically a buyer's market for us- schools that were previously out of reach now seem possible. Also, more people are working for a few years before applying to law schools because that helps them with OCI later on, so going straight from college to law school isn't that crucial anymore.
@ If Feb's your first time taking it, then I would just apply for next year's cycle (whether you decide to take Feb or June doesn't matter much as long as you feel like you're prepared enough). If you have already taken the LSAT & want to retake to improve your score for schollies, then Feb should be fine for this cycle
I love matcha! I actually do a pseudo-bulletproof coffee type of thing and add a spoon of coconut oil to my matcha. I also drink a lot of raw cacao (either warm like hot chocolate or I put a spoon of it into a smoothie with some peanut butter - tastes like a reese's peanut butter cup) - any other cacao drinkers here or is it just me? :)
Yay, congrats on Georgetown!! I'm so happy for you! :)
I have the LR bible but stopped reading it after a few chapters b/c I didn't like it very much. Manhattan LR + Trainer are much better for LR.
Technically, you can't "change" the date because the deadline passed. However, you can withdraw from the Dec exam as long as you do it before midnight EST on the 5th. If you withdraw, then it won't show up on your record. So just withdraw from Dec and then reregister for Feb. If you do decide to take Dec and you're not happy with your performance, you can cancel the exam (but this will show up on your record). Hopefully, that makes sense!
