I'm still not 100% sure why (C) is the correct answer. Does this statement

"They are identified by their mass and whether or not lithium is present in their atmospheres."

imply that in order to be considered a brown dwarf, it must also have lithium in its atmosphere? I assumed a brown dwarf doesn't need to have lithium to be called one.

Congrats! You can finally move into the application process with no worries. Just wondering, how long have you been studying for? And were your PTs consistently above 170 before you took this LSAT?

For #1, can someone explain what "systems of discourse" means in choice C?

I waited until I finished the entire section's CC first. Then, after finishing a section's CC, I would do a couple untimed sections a week of it. So I'd do at least 2 untimed sections of LR, LG or RC depending on what I'm in the mood for.

Yeah I see now. I've actually been studying on an iPad w/ an apple pencil. I was only worried about reading passages because you'd have to scroll to view the passage. But it looks like JY's memory method has actually accounted for that as well haha.

Thank you for answering @ !

Don't take strategies for granted, and continue practicing by using the strategy. Although it may feel unintuitive at first, strategies are what will help you beat time and increase accuracy.

Even if you know it from a gut feeling, force yourself to understand why certain things are correct and others incorrect at the forefront. Most questions will repeat patterns in some way, and identifying when that happens is rewarding when you dive into Practice tests.

Finally, be consistent. Even if it's only 2 hours a day. Make it a habit to study everyday.

Problem sets, exams and other drills are printable. In my experience, most materials are printable. Is there something specific you're looking to print?

7Sage & the Digital LSAT

Hey all,

This might be a bit early, but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about how 7Sage will update its curriculum & strategies heading into the Digital LSAT? How soon can we expect 7Sage to update its content to take on the digital version of the LSAT?

What happens in a study group?

I asked this as a comment in a different thread, but realized it might deviate the convo from the OPs point.

I'm interested in joining/starting a study group in my area (Newport, Jersey City NJ) but have questions.

When people do group study sessions, what's actually done in them? How do you decide what content is covered as a group VS individually, so that everyone gets the most out of it? How will the leader organize the content we go over, and is it expected that we finish the CC entirely before group studying?

EDIT: I've posted this in a separate discussion, so this thread stays consistent with the OPs intended topic.

https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/19151/what-happens-in-group-study-sessions

------- Original Below -------

Quick question - what will we actually do if we get together for [online] study sessions? Like, what content will we cover together Vs do individually? How will the leader organize the content we go over, and is it expected that we finish the CC entirely before group studying?

I haven't group studied for the LSAT before, so just curious.

Hey all,

I'm not sure if a group was already formed or not, but I've gone ahead and set up a discord for us.

https://discord.gg/Bssyzhc

Discord is very similar to Slack. It's just a communication tool. See you guys on discord!

I agree with CantGetRight - we just gotta make the effort to explore ourselves a bit on the side. If you're a podcast kinda person, RadioLab is pretty neat too.

Identify LR cookie cutter questions?

Hey guys!

I was wondering if any of you have a technique to identify cookie cutter questions and answer choices? I really can't tell unless JY mentions it in an explanation video to the question.

Thanks!

Hey Folso,

I'm not sure if your starter pack covers this, but there's a great webinar on 7Sage that goes over Post CC strategies. https://classic.7sage.com/webinar/post-core-curriculum-study-strategies/

It's really helping me get the most out the materials, including my timed/untimed LR sets. Hope it helps you too :)

I see why (B) is the correct answer, but I still don't understand what assumption the argument is making. Any ideas?
